In theory the game is good and the story but some of the game mechanics are bad, the missions are often short or take too long, doesn’t meet the criteria of the 24 hour timeframe. But it’s a game. The voice acting isn’t that great either, story loopholes ect.

Set betwixt Season Two and Season Three, 24: The Game is an action-packed game that delivers as much fun as the television show. Not only are the characters done exactly like the show, but all the actors provide their voices for the game, so you really feel that you ARE in the world created by Joel Surnow and Robert Cochran. Some levels are very hard to beat, but you'll get the hang of them after a lot of trial and error.Suffice to say, you're in for hours of fun.SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!! SPOILER ALERT!!!The one annoying thing to me is that we never find out why Nina (Sarah Clarke, in a wasted cameo) wanted the files from Madsen in the first place, nor do we find out the history that Madsen said he had with Jack, save for a brief line or two. The script could have used more work in that area. Other than that, the character development was terrific. I hope a video game sequel to 24: Live Another Day is produced, if we are not destined to get closure to Jack's storyThe M rating is for the language, which is surprising, given that it is consistent with the television series (nothing above a TV-14 or PG-13 level). I guess the standards for video games are stricter than they are for television programs and motion pictures. The game should really be rated T.

Game was fun at first and I enjoyed playing as Bauer in the shooting missions and interrogations. But after trying 20 times to catch stupid Mr. Shin while playing as Tony, I took the game out of my PS2, broke the CD in half and threw it in the trash. Never been so frustrated with a game before.

I'm so glad I got this game. I love playing it. It is challenging, but not impossible to advance. I have not yet beat the game, mainly because I don't have a lot of time to play it. But when I have time, I really enjoy playing it. The book is great to have; I'm so glad it came with the game. I purchased a used game from a local video store and it was crap and didn't work after a certain level. This game has worked well the whole time since I've received it. THANKS!

Being and avid 24 fan, this game was a no-brainer to buy. Playing the game is really like watching 24. Between gameplay sequences there is quite a bit of animated scenes a much a 3-5 minutes long of dialoge as if it was an episode. This really helps to move the game along. It is really nice to see all of my favorite characters (especially since most of them are dead). The gameplay I find is pretty easy. The driving sequences are probably the most challenging since the controllers are not the most smooth. You get to play all the characters at some point. I kept finding myself trying to get Kim killed since she won't die on the show. (ha).As I said, this is more of a new season of 24 to watcch rather than a challenging game. The story is excellent. I certainly recommend it to all 24 fans.
