Good price compared to my local stores and nice quality sponge. Larger than I expected which is good, and has a nice feel to it.

I had an awkward area where I needed to sand drywall compound. I tried other sandpapers and sponges but they either didn't fit or wore out too easily.Not only did this one allow me to get into narrow areas, but the quality is much better than I was expecting. I've used it for a few different sanding jobs and it still works just as well as when I first got it. I will happily buy this product again!

These sanding sponges are worth spending the extra few dollars on. I was using the sponges from the dollarama but those start to fall apart and lose its grit after a few mins. But these 3M sponges don't have that problem, after over an hour of sanding, it's still useful.

Nice sanding sponge EXCEPT they disintegrated with the first use and therefore are NOT reusable

A couple of months ago I went to my local big box hardware store. I paced the painting aisles for a few and could not locate the sanding blocks and fitted sandpaper for said blocks. All I found were these sponges. I was skeptical. I left the store, empty-handed, and went home to do some research. I returned later and got a sanding sponge. The sponge featured on this page is my second one. These things are awesome. They can be cleaned with a smack or two of the hand or rinsed for a more complete cleaning. The two I own have not worn out and in fact show no signs of wear that I can tell. They are also pressure-sensitive, meaning you can sand more or less depending on the amount of force you deploy. I love them, and in the future I plan to get out a little more often to see what else I have been missing.
