  • 3QT Natural Orchid Soil: Natural orchid potting soil is a mixture of pine bark, perlite, sphagnum moss, and coco peat. Crafted with a rich blend of organic components, our mix is ideal for phalaenopsis orchids, ensuring robust growth.
  • Good Balance of Drainage and Water Retention: Our mix is engineered to provide excellent drainage, a key element in preventing root rot in orchids. This feature allows for optimal water flow, ensuring roots receive moisture without being waterlogged. It's especially beneficial for orchids in humid environments or those susceptible to overwatering.
  • Incorporating High-quality Orchid Moss: this mix ensures your Phalaenopsis orchids receive the right balance of air and moisture. The moss aids in retaining necessary water while allowing roots to breathe, thus creating an ideal environment for orchids to thrive.
  • Suitable for Multiple Types of Orchids: Cattleyas, Phalaenopsis, Dendrobiums, Paphiopedilums, Oncidiums, and All Epiphytic Orchids.
  • Buy with Confidence: We value our products and customer experience. If you are not satisfied with what you receive, let us know and we'll arrange a refund or replacement immediately.

Most of it is in powder form and has poor air permeability. The Phalaenopsis that was just rescued almost died.

Absolutely misled on the photos. It is nothing more than a bag of dirt. There are no large or even small pieces in this bag at all. So disappointed! Being this was my first orchid ever to have and repot, I thought I did enough research. Apparently not.

Trying to save an orchid, so far the decline of the plant has seemed to stop.

Described and pictures as having large chunks of bark and perlite, suitable for orchids. In reality it looks like pure sawdust, no chunks of bark, not suitable for orchids whatsoever.

It's exactly as expected. Better price than most place. Combined with other indoor plant soil this was a great addition.Worth the money. Can be used in multiple ways.

Adding Charcoal to your garden soil is a great way to add carbon to your soil. This also allows beneficial bacteria and fungi to flourish as it gives them a substrate to live on. This is a 1.5 quart bag of dime size or smaller chunks of charcoal. I added this whole bag to a bag of compost and spread it out over some newly tilled soil and then tilled it in really well. Prepping this area for some cucumbers in the spring garden. Highly Recommend!

I ordered this to use for odors in my home particularly my fireplaces. I dumped this in a little mesh bag that I had an extra of which was meant for washing undergarments. I put it right in my fireplace. Normally, I buy those little charcoal bags, and they are miracle workers. I have been in this place for 5 years, and the first couple years it was the smelliest place I've ever lived in my life and nothing I did make it better. I was mortified and humiliated every single day of my life because my clothes and everything just stunk like the worst house smell you could ever smell. I finally realized it was coming out of the fireplaces as I live in the rainy Pacific northwest, and odors come in through the fireplaces even if they are sealed which mine are faulty and I don't use them. Once I ordered enough of the charcoal bags for the square footage the smell was instantly gone within 2 days. I could not believe that happened, because I felt it was impossible and the only way to escape it would be to move out which wasn't an option. I also noticed they only last for 2 years, and mine stopped working about 24 to 26 months later which is when I started to smell the stinky house again and I recently just replaced them all. Because I saw this online, I figured it wouldn't hurt and I already knew I could put it in one of my mesh bags since it's just going in the fireplace. I would use it in plants, but this is what I'm doing now. Since my house smell is already taken care of since I upgraded everything, I can't really tell you if it works with this particular bag, but because of what I have done with the other bags, I know charcoal works. They are just prettier when you buy the woven ones, and they are obviously not messy. No complaints. My landlord's already know when I move out it's going to get funky in here again and they need to order the bags lol

This is a good sized chunk charcoal for terrariums, orchids, or indoor potting soil. There is a fair bit of dust in the bag, so I recommend opening it outdoors when you want to use it. Otherwise, the quality seems very good. I have used it in one terrarium as well as a number of indoor plants, and so far it's working just great!
