The Addlon brand's "50FT LED Outdoor String Lights with Edison Shatterproof Bulbs" are a set of 15 bulbs on a 50-foot black cable.They are easy to install, weatherproof, and come with a vendor's warranty.They are available in a variety of wire lengths and bulb densities, but be aware of the line lead length and that you have easy access to an outdoor outlet. You may need an outdoor extension cord.The bulbs are very bright on first install. A natural warm-white at 2680 degrees Kelvin. Lumen output is higher than expected at nearly 225 lumens per bulb at full brightness while consuming about one watt of power. That's very efficient.I paired my set with a WiFi dimmer with sunset to sunrise astronomical timing. The bulbs dim to a very low setting, and I have the dimmer set to turn them on at sunset at 1 percent and increase the brightness to 75 percent over 20 minutes. This is a very natural transition and imperceptible through the twilight time, and with an astronomical dimmer, the turn-on and turn-off times automatically adjust as the sunset does throughout the year.A well-written instruction manual is enclosed. Be sure to read it and ensure that your installation is correct for outdoor / wet environments.Very pleased with the lights -- the only concern is that the mounting hole on the top of each fixture is very small, so you will need a small attachment screw or hook to match.The outer bulb cover is plastic and can be easily cleaned as needed.One extra bulb, cover, and fuse included in the offer.Also, the wire and fixture is only available in black -- may be nice to have white and green wires.Pros:Easy to install Bright lightWater resistantDurable shatterproof bulbs Warm white colorGood value for moneyDimmer compatible (with separate dimmer switch) Three-year vendor's warranty.Cons:Can be tangled upon arrival (but easy to untangle)May be too bright for some users (consider a WiFi dimmer with an astronomical sunset / sunrise setting to match local sunset and sunrise times).General:I recommend buying hanging hooks with spring clasps to secure the lights in windy conditions.

These lights are fantastic. I bought a couple sets, one for our screened in porch and the other for a firepit project I just completed. They're bright enough to give off some ambient light but not too bright that they'll blind you at night and ruin the mood. LEDs will last forever as long as you can keep water out of them. I live where we get all 4 seasons: freezing temperatures, snow and ice along with rainy spring seasons and hot, humid summers - so time will tell how they hold up. The bulb housings are plastic so they should be durable long term and you don't have to worry about breaking them. Each set come with a couple spare LED bulbs and housings which is a nice touch, be sure to hold on to those.50ft are going for $27 right now with a 30% off coupon, I can't find anything negative about these and for the price if I had to replace them every couple years I wouldn't be too upset about it.The ones on the porch are connected to a remote switch that I can control from inside, and the ones over the firepit are plugged into a dusk/dawn sensor to come on every night. I ran wire in conduit up the side of the post to an outlet so that way I didn't have the bulbs running down the side of the post making it look tacky. There isn't a huge distance between where your plug is and where the first light starts, so take that into consideration for your project. You'd want to avoid using extension cords in a situation like this as that's just another spot for water ingress. These make for great ambient lighting next to our pool and give off enough light to keep people from tripping on stuff in the yard.This is such a simple project that will make a world of difference to your entertaining space, guests will absolutely love these and want to pick up a set for their place.

My daughter in law has a set in her backyard. So I too ordered and live the brightness the bulbs offer on our dark evenings. Dark by 4:30. They make me smile every evening.

I absolutely love these lights. The plastic covering over the bulbs is so nice (I was definitely dropping and dragging them while trying to set them up, and held up!) I also love there are two extra bulbs that come with it. They are easy to set up, whether you use the wire or the hanging hole on the bulbs, it hands easily from nails. The light is warm and bright but not overwhelming. Everything worked, nothing was damaged, and quality is good. Definitely a good option for outdoor use or clumsy people

I ended up returning these because I misread that they were solar powered, which is my own fault. One thing I noticed, though in compared to others I have purchased is that for the amount of feet of string you buy there isn’t that many bulbs compared to other brands. The replacement I purchased has bulbs every 1.5 ft.

Installation was super easy but unboxing wasn't. It comes with an instruction on how to untangle properly by laying it flat and untwisting the blue wired clasps that hold the cords together. It doesn't work. I just tried to untangle it carefully by laying it flat on my balcony. Once untangled, installation was very easy. I bought hanging hooks with spring clasps to hold the electrical cord during windy situations.I had to buy a porch light bulb converter since I don't have an electrical outlet oustide my balcony so I can plug the LED lights. All I have to do is to flip up the switch from the inside to turn on the lights and it works great.I just bought a smart dimmer to change my light switch inside because I think these LED light bulbs are just too bright for my intention and the deisred effect. I have yet to receive the dimmer from Amazon in 2 days and then install it.The bulbs feel durable because they are made of plastic and not the very old fashion ones. They are also waterproof since it rained very hard here a couple of days after my installation and no water got inside the bulbs.The light bulbs are all LEDs so they are indeed cost efficient should you decide to turn them on at dusk and that's what I planned to do that's why I bought a smart dimmer switch to program it to turn on at dusk and turn off at 5:30 am everyday.I definitely recommend this string of outdoor LED light bulbs. I got mine on sale for $21.00 during Black Friday and I am very happy with it.
