For brake pads at a small price these ain’t too bad there’s obviously better but for the price they are asking this is a steal! I have a 2011 Specialized Rockhopper and I replaced my brake pads for my front brake. The process was easy and swift. The braking power was significantly better than my old original ones. I DID USE MY OLD SPRING (that metal thingy that separates the pads) the one that came in this product was too soft bent too easily.

These pads are exactly the same size as the OEM pads on my 2015 iZip ebike. The pad material is substantial and on some brakes you may have to grind them down slightly before installing them. Lots of good YouTube videos on the subject; importantly it matters which pad is installed first and you need to break in the pad gently (no panic stops for a mile or so). Considering that these pads are half the price of the others on Amazon, I'm very happy with them; no squeals and so far they work well.

I got these for my friends old Specialized Rockhopper. The pads that were on there when we started riding together didn't even work in the back and barely in the front, so I told him I'd get his bike stopping again. These were easy to install in his mechanical calipers and now he can skid his tires in the dirt his brakes stop so well. They are a bit thick so I had to adjust the caliper from there position it was in with his last pads. Great value, changed all 4 pads and I have 4 left for a future change.

This brake pad diameter is just a bit larger than the typical round brake pad, making it impossible for it to fit. Also, the thickness of the brake pad is too big. I didn't think this would be a bad thing but it doesn't allow enough room for both disc pads to enter at one time. Very bad design and I plan to return these as soon as possible.

Haven’t got to put a lot of time on the bike since putting these on the rear however like others have said I did have to file the back plate down to get them to fit. Took about 20 minutes with a vice and file to get them to fit good. Seem to grab fair, trying to bed them still. They do seem to be getting a little stronger and stop my Trek 3700 fine. FYI I received 4 sets of brake pads in my order. I was only anticipating four pads, just a front and rear set. Maybe I got lucky maybe I didn’t read the description well enough.

Snug fit for sure but very easy to put in. I removed the caliper to make the job easier and left the wheel on the bike, took less than half a beer to do the job. The packaging claims these pads are for mopeds and motorcycles only (Must be tiny motorbikes) mine is a Rambo mid drive e-bike and these pads work very well.

They fit well and do the job.The sensitivity and stopping power are not the best that I've ever experienced, but they're decent. So far I've used them mainly in dry conditions, but they worked well on a day of muddy trail riding. I was able to control rear wheel lockup on muddy descents while keeping the front from locking. If value is important, these are a good option. If you want extreme stopping power and feel, I'd look elsewhere (but you'll probably pay more).

I do lots of hill work on my hybrid bike so naturally lots of down hill also my brakes are cable activated disc and from what I hear pads are more prone to wear than hydraulic activated that said these pads are lasting longer than others I have tried at four times the price from local bike stores.

Items are WAYYY too thick and are difficult to install. I was able to grind down the material somewhat and once installed they worked well enough, however I doubt I would buy these again.

You will very likely struggle to fit these through the clearance of your BB5 brakes. Just remember the material of the pads is not as hard as the brake housing. I used pliers to push them through the gap (yes it's that tight). I probably had to put about 10lb of force on them. Make sure you load them the right way because they will be unpleasant to remove.Great price. If they had properly spec'd the clearance I would give these 5 stars.

The pads are good and I like them better than the semi-metalic ones. They feel like they have a better "bite" and feels like I have more stopping power than the previous semi-metalics that I had.Overall I like them and cannot complain so far.

First, of course you only need 4 of these and buying 8 made me worry that they would be so bad I would need them. I was pleasantly surprised that these were just fine. I use them on my commuter/gravel bike and put them in right before a race and they worked just fine and I did not have to replace them after a day of abuse. It's now been over a month and all is fine. I do like the idea of having a spare set on standby so having 8 is OK.Bottom line: go for it, they work fine.
