We have a large home theater room that I have slowly been adding LED lighting to in various spots to add to the theater vibe. My kids also call it the Xbox room since they also do their gaming in there and they are loving these LED as an addition.These LEDs are COB style so it will appear as one continuous light strip instead of like a traditional LED where you can see each one.It definitely goes a more high end appearance and like a professional installed it and I won’t ever go back.I appreciated how flexible this is despite being so thick as well as having the remote to control the various settings.So far it has worked great on our theater room with daily use and I am very happy I ordered it.

This is not a led strip like I was used to. This one is a rope, I mean, a solid light strip, instead of the choppy lightning you get with the regular ones. You cannot actually see the individual lightning led units but rather you see a consistent, solid light, sort of like a flexible neon light. The advantage of this rope is that you can get that same neon effect but with the flexibility to twist and bend it the way you want so with some creativity, you can have great signs having letter or other designs you may think of. Here are some ideas I have experimented with: Writ "BAR" and put it somewhere in the bar area... it looks great. You can design a heart and put it above your beds headboard to announce your significant other that you are in the mood for a romantic night.... the sky is the limit. You just need some creativity to put it to work.If you are not the creative type, just use it as plain light wherever you want. It will help give that space a custom feel depending on your mood by using the remote and choosing the right color or combination of colors you might desire.The strip itself seems well built and can be used outside too since it is weather proof. Comes complete with remote control, power adapter and some brackets to keep it in place.

Plain packaging aside, what's inside the box here is thankfully a lot more vibrant. This rope-style LED is definitely my favourite type of light strip, as I find the individual lights on more traditional LED strips to look rather cheap once installed, and the colours are typically not quite as vivid.In this case, however, the lights feel premium -- both to the touch and visually -- and the included number of modes are incredibly eye-catching. The heft of the rope itself might actually be a bit too heavy when it comes to hanging, so I would absolutely recommend using the included mounting brackets instead of any adhesive clips that you may have on hand.You can control all of the lights' functions from the included remote control, so there is no hassle of using a third-party app that would force you to create an account. On the other hand, this means that there is no voice control functionality or music syncing of any kind.But once installed, this lighting really does have a WOW factor. Whether for a kid's room, rec room, or behind your television, it is guaranteed to look fantastic. It is lacking a few modes that some higher-end sets have, but at this price-point I think what is being offered is very fair.

This is my second time buying these lights. I like that the colour changing settings have been refined, the transition between colours is smoother. Nice colours, I also like that I can adjust the brightness of them.
