This journal was given as a gift to my daughter who loves purple and butterflies. The cover is beautiful with hints of gold along with other pretty colors. It's a little smaller than some journals. I think it's very nice and a perfect gift. I also purchase a nice pen to give along with the journal.

This is exactly as I hoped. The background color is an ivory, not white, which is as I had hoped. There’s shiny gold foil in the details that I tried to show in one of the pictures. It’s very pretty.

This note book far exceeded my expectations. I bought it for 8.99 and it could easily be sold for double in a small store. The cover is rock hard and so much more beautiful in person than the pictures show. Great note book.
