I was worried about buying this as it is a frequently returned product but there is a picture that shows the measurements of the latch which I had measured against my door so I knew it will fit for sure and when I got it and tried it, it worked like a charm.

Have not used it as yet but it worked well at home when checking it out. It appears very well made and strong not flimsy or poorly made.

This device works well enough for me, for keeping my elderly parent from wondering out on their own. However, as a home security device, it is pretty lightweight and flimsy to provide much security.I bought a heavy duty one, but it did not fit under my door.So, if you just need this to prevent people (kids, elderly) from exiting without anyone's attention, it would work well enough.As a home security device, it is not going to work well.

I like how easy this is to use. The only problem I may have is I only have a deadbolt and when this is installed in the striker I cannot lock the door. I am not sure if this is a problem or not. I will say the door feels very secure and I do feel safe using it.

Bought this after trying it on our home doors. Did not fit in a hotel room door, which was the reason I bought it.

I never usually travel alone or I travel by myself to be with friends or family, so Ive never pulled the trigger to get one of these. I had to do a solo trip recently and I felt like I needed to grab one of these, better to have spent $10 and be extra safe then be sorry. I like this a lot because even if the hotel do has a latch or a "deadbolt", I have seen how people can get around them, even the lock, hotel have masterkeys. and this prevents anyone from getting in. ALSO I don't know why but a lot of public restrooms, even sketchy rest stops, dont have proper locks on the stall doors, or they are so busted up that you have to risk it and rush before anyone comes in, so the fact i can use this in my day to day life, to secure any restroom stall door. ALSO TO THE ALSO, I am always at bars and resturants the dont have hooks under the bars for your purse and i never want to put my bag on the floor or on the chair where i can't see if anyone takes it or goes through it so you can use this to clamp on to the bar put your straps on it! TOTALLY worth $10

I like the design. Had they invested a little more into quality and strength , it could have been suitable. The value is not there. The quality is not there. Should state it will only work on some doors.
