The hose is held in place with the included clamp. Made of reinforced vinyl for heavy duty 22 mil hosing. 1-12" x 25' hose.

Large hole in hose first time used. Didn't need to use the product right away so now I cannot return this product. If you purchase test within 30 days or you cannot return even for faulty product. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT

I was looking for a flexible hose of 1.5" because I need to cut it to certain length and this is exactly what I need.I'm not sure about the quality yet, but it looks good so far. Time will tell.Update: I connected it to a rain barrel and it did the job. I had to insert a ring-shaped object into the end to keep it widely open.

Decent material, vinyl like, no reinforced mesh. Could easily be ripped. Attached to pool pump to drain pool. Worked great with no issues.

I use it with a sump pump to clean out the pond from time to time. It is only used on occasion sot it will likely hold up and is put away after use. I don't think it would stand up in high traffic area or continues use.
