These jacks are working great in my pedalboard power supply project (see pic). The pin spacing did not exactly match the 2.54 mm spacing of my perfboard but, with a slight bending outwards of the pins, they pop right through for a tight solder to the board. I have already ordered these again and will continue to use them in future projects.

Unless the seller is talking about nailing the things to a 1950's style, wooden breadboard, it's not clear where the “Breadboard-friendly” assertion comes from. The three tabs are made to be soldered into circuit boards, and I could not force them into any modern breadboard. I used a rotary tool to grind all three narrower and twist two of them so they'd be oriented properly to fit into the breadboard. Even then, needing to twist two of them shortened them too much for the breadboard to hold them well. On the plus side, I like that the sockets have three tabs to be soldered into the circuit board to keep it from twisting when plugging in a power supply.

These actually plug into a standard breadboard! The description said breadboard friendly but I was skeptical that the mounting pins would be small enough to fit. Pleasantly surprised !

Bought these to use on breadboards. They fit fine and convenient when hooking up modular power supply plugs.

I love these positively beneficial barrel jacks! They are also breadboard compatible as well as being soldered to a printed circuit board. Amazing!
