We've had these up for about two years and cleared any existing nests before hanging the decoys.I do think that these have made a reduction in the number of wasp nests that have formed in our front an back porch areas, and we still have them up.It is worth noting that a new wasp nest did start to form INSIDE ONE OF THESE at about the 18 month mark. So...it's not fool proof!

I have tried everything from diy to manufactures’ pest control products-nothing worked so I thought to give this a try. Haven’t seen one wasp since installed! I like because they are not paper, what’s the point of that for outdoor problem? I did find, however, that it needs to be installed where a real wasp nest would be-like close to wall. I had it hanging on outdoor shower rod where they were making nest and it didn’t bother them. I then moved it under eve close to wall and totally worked!

It imitates another hive Lives there so wasps go elsewhere. Cost effective, no harm to insects. We need them.

No more paper hives that get destroyed in the wind. This item is reusable material. Good quality and most importantly waterproof. It also looks great once it's hanging. Not only does it keep wasps away but it's like having lanterns in my backyard. I plan on getting more.

We’ve had years where we called the exterminators for wasps building their nests around our front porch ceiling and our siding of our back deck, and years where I bought the spray and did it myself. We also had years where I attempted to use a high pressure setting on the hose to wash away the nests before they got big. It was a constant battle. I heard about these and looked them up on Amazon. I was shocked to see they were actually pretty and sturdy enough to be reused year after year. And they worked amazingly! No wasps at all. None at all. I actually got to enjoy my back deck this year. I used zip ties that I purchased separately to attach them.

I put both of them in the patio but the wasps still come to bother me whenever I have dinner. Doesn’t work at all.
