Your cart is empty.This Billet Style Cast Aluminum Fluid Control Thermostat with 1/2 inch NPT ports allows the oil to bypass the cooler until it reaches 180 degree F at which point the internal thermostatic valve will close and force 100 per cent of the oil through the cooler while maintaining a constant pressure system. This process allows the engine/transmission to achieve the ideal operating temperature quicker before passing the oil through the cooler. The unit can be rotated 180 degree to change flow direction. Hardware kit with brass fittings and hose clamps included.

I returned it as it was shipped with plastic fittings instead of Brass as advertised.

Valve installé sur Audi Q5 TDI 2014. La valve semble bien fonctionner et ne coule pas. Seul hic, les fittings 1/2" en plastique ne sont pas de bonnes qualités. J'ai donc dû les remplacer par des fittings en brasse.Le vrais test d'efficacité va se faire l'été prochain en remorquant la roulotte et en faisant du monitoring de la température de l'huile à transmission.
