Don't like these. The opening is small.

My favorite part of these bags are the handles- they make tying so much easier. With that said, I think I prefer a larger bag for my large dog (with very large #2s). These bags are very slim and probably better suited for small to medium dogs.

These are great dog poop bags that are strong and can pick up a lot of poop.

these are great! they are very strong and hold a lot more than i was expecting them to. they are smaller bags but still hold a ton of crap! they also have easy to tie handles, making the throw away process cleaner and easier.

As a pet parent, I am a mindful consumer, and these plant-based pet waste bags are a nice addition to the marketplace. The two boxes of 60 bags each will last me several months for use with my cat. I appreciate the easy-to-tie handles and the overall size, and that each box holds four compressed rolls of 15 bags: a wonderful space-saving feature. Each pet waste bag tears cleanly from the roll and is heat-sealed at the bottom for extra strength. Two minor issues I encountered included the little sticker that tapes the last bag to the roll tore the bag when trying to remove it, and that is an issue one would hope the manufacturer can easily fix. For me, it made me question the durability of the bags. My second issue is that the bag is long and narrow, and the bottom does not open or lie flat, with a top opening far narrower than similar products. I use a pellet litter system and scoop out the pet waste, and the opening is pretty tight unless one carefully angles the scoop in.Overall, the waste bags hold up well, and I even tested them by dropping a 12-ounce can of soda from multiple heights into an open bag with no problems or issues found. However, one might find issues using these for wet litter or heavier loads.Final Recommendation: Sold at a reasonable price point, these eco-friendly pet waste bags are good for the planet and every pet owner.

Reasons To Buy+ They're unscented+ The fact that these bags are specifically made of compostable materials matters to you+ The plastic quality is good enough that you don't need to worry about tearing any more than other bags I've used. I would say the plastic is as good as, if not better than Amazon Basics bags that I currently use+ They can hold a lot of poop+ They have handles, which can make transport easier after tying them up .Hit or Miss* The plastic is softer (less crinkly/noisy) than the biodegradable bags I'm used to using.Reasons Not To Buy- They're unscented- If you don't know the difference between compostable bags and biodegradable bags, you'll probably want to buy cheaper bags- You need to store them properly since they break down more easily with prolonged exposed to UV light etc., which could be inconvenientGood Value? At around 12.5 cents per bag (at the time of review), they are more than double what I pay for Amazon Basics bags. To be fair, the smallest quantity of Amazon Basics bags is 270, so I am benefitting from 1) buying a larger number than 120, and 2) the fact that "biodegradable" plastic is much cheaper than compostable plastic. When compared to the price of other compostable bags in 120 counts, the price is competitive and in the same ballpark. So while they may not seem to be a good deal in terms of poop bags in general, as far as **compostable** poop bags go, these bags are a good value.

The first thing that interest me about these bags is that they are certified compostable, which is great, because they go in my green bin and so this should make them a little more environmentally friendly. I found that they are comparable value to non-compostable bags at my local store. So why not go with some thing a little more friendly to nature for about the same price priceThe first thing that interests me about these bags is that they are certified compostable, which is great because they go in my green bin and so this should make them a little more environmentally friendly. I found that they are a comparable value to non-compostable bags at my local store. So why not go with some thing a little more friendly to nature for about the same price? In terms of the size of the rolls, it is very standard roll length and circumference, so it fit perfectly into my older roll containers.Because these are compostable, the bags have a very different feel from what I’m used to. They’re a lot softer and have almost a creamy texture if that makes sense. They’re thinner than some of the other poop bags that I used, but even though they’re thin, they seem to be fairly strong. The shape of the bag is also slightly different than what I’m used to. They are pinched at the bottom, not a flat seam. They also seem longer than a standard bag, and they have handles. These bags are not small and I have no issues getting my hand into them and using them, but the dimensions are a little bit different. I would say the length of these is a bonus because you’ve got more area to tie the knot.Overall, I think these bags are a great value, and very usable, and better for the environment than the conventional type!

Refresh Packaging finally did what I have been wanting for years and years, they took a handled compostable bag and they rolled it up. Finally.I use these bags in my kitchen for my morning odds and ends kitchen compost garbage - coffee grounds, avocado shell, carrot peels, etc - and usually I have a big box of handled bags to contend with that does not fit in any drawer or takes up an obscene amount of space in a cabinet. These little rolls fit in a tiny corner in my silverware drawer and I can pull one out super easy. The top of the bag tapers in, which does take a little bit to get used to and the first couple days I dumped coffee grounds all over. This was easily fixed by folding the top of the bag down before loading any scraps in. Not a big deal. These bags are durable and even with super hot coffee grounds and being filled all the way to the top, I tied the bag with the handles and there were no leaks or holes. These are cornstarch bags and I have learned from experience with other brands that they do have an expiration and if they are exposed to warm temperatures they will start to degrade. Just don't buy them in bulk unless you can use them before 6 to 8 months is up because they do start to weaken.Great bags in a small roll.

I appreciate that they are compostable bags, but I will skip that part as that was not my priority. As "poop bags" for my dog, I liked them. Aside from the extra benefit of being compostable bags, their material is not weak. I had some other bags that were great, but would easily tear while you are trying to get one. These seem fine in strength. The size is different from what I am used to using for poop bags. It feels narrower and longer than others. It feels a bit awkward, but it does not affect its function and use. Another difference is that they have handles. Although that is a feature I will probably not use, it might appeal to others for easier and more isolated carrying. For me, the handles help determining which way the bags open. With other bags, it is sometimes confusing to figure out which side opens; with these, the handles tip you off. In addition, the material is not slippery so that also helps with opening the bags. With some other bags with slippery materials, I can spend minutes trying to open a single bag.The price may be somewhat higher than others, but I think the difference is not that significant as these are not very expensive items, and you receive a 2-pack that contains 120 bags for $15 CAD at the time of writing. I won't complain for a few bucks. The only complaint I have (well, other than the weird dimensions) is that the rolls seem to be a bit too fat. I had a hard time placing it into the poop bag container, and it will probably be hard rolling first few bags out of the hole, but that is not a deal-breaker.Overall, I like the bags. They are easy to use, easy to open. I am not sure if every body has the ability to dispose off compostable material in the proper way, but that feature is also a plus. I recommend that you give these a try.
