First year worked great love over flow release.Second year put outside to early and small water amount froze and cracked bottom.My fault.

Very happy with the rainbarrels. We ordered two. Aesthetically pleasing behind the shed. Sturdy. They are made to sit on the ground if you are wanting and, thus, the spigot is raised so the barrel will have water in the bottom when drained. With some ingenuity I am sure we can get the barrel drained all the way. Very happy.

Bought 2 of these to collect rain to water garden. It has worked great when we get enough rain to fill them.I will say, read the instructions. It does warn you against tightening the hose bib too tightly. I did this on one and it kind of crushed the rubber washer and started leaking. I was able to fix it as the washer was still new, but I had to stick my arm shoulder deep into some gross water to do it so be warned.These were almost half the price of those available from Lowe's or Home Depot.

Well made product, and it looks good too. There's only thing I would change: since this is not like the garden hose tap where you may want to adjust the water pressure with the "turning knob", a quarter turn spigot would be better, and likely cause less stress on the plastic barrel over time in my opinion. However, those cost less than $10 so it's a small expense for the improvement. Even with the extra expense, this rain barrel is still a good deal.

Really do like the size and design of this rain barrel - it was easy to setup and use. BUT... sadly.. on only the third season of use a large crack opened up on the base underneath - despite being setup securely on large patio stone for a base. "Plastic fatigue" I suspect give the shape of the crack. All the water naturally drained out and made a mess of the parging that was done recently. I therefore can no longer recommend this product given the short life that it lasted. I certainly expected years of use...

I like the top screen that keeps the junk out, easy to maintain and love the overflow drain w/ hose.... however, the tap is leaking, so I guess I'll have to chaulk it or spray some sealant to stop it. Overall the barrel seems sturdy but not happy I have to fix something I just bought.
