It's made from pretty much all metal. Not as heavy as I remember my dad's similar sprinkler so many years ago. Then again, the sprinkler does not need to be staked with my well water pressure (which is considerable), so who cares. This will last many years so I consider it a good product that will do exactly what they claim. It's not rocket science, this design has been around for a very long time, which means it works. It will do 360deg if you wish or just about any amount of spread. You can adjust the vertical output as well with the square metal blade hanging out where the H2O comes out. Flip it all the way up and you get a single powerful stream. Perfect for trees. Adjust it down into the water stream and it will spread out the pattern and keep it closer to the sprinkler, for near gardens and more delicate watering.Comes with some extra washers too.Good deal here...in my opinion.

I have been using the same old sprinkler for years now and it has been good except that it has limited range, to water my front lawn I have to move it 3 to 4 times to cover everything. I decided to give this one a try and see if I can position it in a way that it covers more of my yard. I am happy to say that by placing this in one corner of my yard, it is able to go back and fourth with a 90 degree angle and cover the entire lawn! The sprinkler has a large round base making it very sturdy and not likely to move or fall over. The base is all metal, it is not overly heavy but heavy enough to keep it in place. The spray nozzle works very well and can shoot out quite far, combined with the adjustable clips to increase or decrease the rotational angle, it makes for a very capable sprinkler. Adjusting the angle is quite easy, there are two clips attached on the bottom with tabs sticking out, the sprinkler reverses direction when it touches one of these tabs. You can easily rotate these (even while its running) to tune in exactly the desired angle.Overall I am very happy with this sprinkler, it is super easy to use, easy to set, well build, and can cover large areas without needing to be moved.

I have a sprinkler that's similar to this ESOW sprinkler, except this ESOW sprinkler is much better. For one, the ESOW sprinkler come with a heavy base, instead of a spike base that needs to be driven into the lawn. I hate repositioning my spike base sprinkler. It may take several attempts to drive the spike sprinkler into the lawn. I'm lucky if I don't hit a rock or a hard patch of soil. During operation, if I haven't driven the spike deep enough, it comes loose and begins to spray water everywhere. With the ESOW sprinkler, I just pick-up the sprinkler and reposition it. When I'm lazy, I just pick up the hose and try to reposition it by pulling the hose towards me. With this sprinkler I can also use this sprinkler on stone driveways or walkways. My spike base sprinkler definitely will not work in those places.I like that this sprinkler is fully adjustable for the type of spray and also for the coverage area. The online description gives details on these different adjustments. You might want to print a copy of this because the included instructions do not mention these different configurations. The ESOW sprinkler fits a Canadian garden hose size of 3/4". It was easy to attach my garden hose to the sprinkler. I was able to hand-tighten the hose to the sprinkler. After hand tightening the sprinkler connection, it did not leak. This sprinkler also supports connecting other sprinklers in series--I can also reuse my spike base sprinkler with this sprinkler. The ESOW sprinkler comes in two pieces. There's a metal base that is heavy enough to keep the sprinkler working without it drifting away from its original placement. The pressure from the sprinkler spray does not move the base. The spay mechanism is also an all-metal design (not like the half-plastic design of my spike base sprinkler). The spray mechanism attaches to the base by screwing the spray mechanism to the base. If storage is tight, you can easily unscrew the spray mechanism.

This Esow pulsating sprinkler is very well-made. It is made of metal which is a plus for me. It is lightweight and is easy to move. You may not have to move it much because it waters a large area depending upon your water pressure. It came in a nice cardboard box which would be great for gifting. The instructions were not the best so I went back to the item on Amazon and the pictures that were on there helped me figure out the different settings. I received this when it was cold outside, so I must say I haven’t used it much or been able to play with the Settings like I would like to. I actually had the water turned off for the winter and had to turn it on just to try this out and figure out how the settings worked.. I am impressed so far because it worked beautifully and it is well made. I will update later if my initial review changes in any way. I did knock off one star for lack of instructions for the settings.

I only had a day to try it out before the spring snow hit, but so far I really like this. It's very much like the ones we used as kids to run through sprinklers to get wet. Of course it was also watering the grass. It's not really heavy, made of metal though, but that's okay because I'm putting it in the middle where we're growing some grass. It came with some extra washers. It has a good spread, dependent on what you're looking for. I had it going 360 and it went pretty far out. It stayed in place. I like how adjustable it is because after that lawn starts growing and sets in, I can use this for the flowers that don't get much water under the eaves. Nice product. No issues so far, but I was only able to use it once. Will revise this should something change.

I tried the ESOW sprinkler during my first lawn watering this year, and it held up great. The metal base gives it some real weight, which helped it stay put even with pretty decent water pressure. Way better than the plastic spike ones I used before that always tipped over or shot off when the hose moved even a little. I placed it in one corner of my yard, adjusted the spray angle to about 90°, and it managed to hit pretty much everything without me needing to move it around.Adjusting the spray pattern is straightforward once you mess with it a bit. The tabs are easy to turn even while it's running, which was nice because I didn’t have to keep turning the water off to make changes. The range is pretty solid too—it reached the far end of my lawn without any issues. I haven’t tried chaining it with other sprinklers yet, but it does have the connection for it.Only small complaint is that there’s no instructions on how to use all the adjustments, so you kinda have to figure it out yourself or check online. But once I got it dialed in, it did exactly what I needed. Definitely keeping it in my regular rotation this season.

I have used this for a few weeks and i very much so like how much you can adjust everything. The first few times i used it, it worked flawlessly. You can put it in the middle of the yard and have it spin around in a circle. You can adjust how far it throws water. And its very easy to move around. The only problem i ran into is the tension of the hose can move it around a little bit and in the worst case flip it over while its running. It has done this a few times. It does not happen in the first minute while I'm observing it. When i go to turn it off it will be flipped over. It doesn't do it often, just sometimes. Overall i like this design better than a normal push-in sprinkler.

This pulsating sprinkler by ESOW has all the standard adjustments a pulsating sprinkler should have. It has the water diffusion needle at the tip, as well as the top deflector to drive the water stream downward (decreasing range), as well as the flip up arm in the back that can be left up so the sprinkler does a complete circle, or put in the down position so it hits the set of wings at the base of the head and does a smaller sweep of the area (the wings can be adjusted to create whatever sweep angle you want). The bottom of the sprinkler is adequate in diameter to provide a stable base, however it is not solid metal, but rather stamped (i.e. hollow on the backside - see photo). As a result it is quite light. In addition to the this, the base appears to just be spray painted, so longevity is somewhat in question. On the other hand, the sprinkler head itself is rather solidly built and also appears to be powder coated so it should be much more durable than the base. The sprinkler is also designed so it can be daisy chained. While this does work, it is important to recognize that this type of setup results in a significant pressure drop at each sprinkler that is connected.I prefer this type of sprinkler over the oscillating bar type as they seem to last much longer. I am a bit concerned with the equality of the base (I don't think the paint will stand up in the long run), and this might not work well if you have high pressure due to the lack of weight in the base. In our area, we have pretty standard residential pressure, and when placed on the grass the sprinkler holds its position. When placed on concrete however, the sprinkler did have a tendency to "walk".Good pulsating action and lots of adjustment possible. A little heavier base would be better.
