I’ve had this product for 18 mths and have had to replace batteries 3 times due to water damage. The 3rd time the unit did not work afterwards. They look great and work well but are definitely not waterproof as advertised.

loved these for all four years in my college dorm, they got lots of compliments! They were abused pretty badly during moves and made it out unscathed.

I bought 2 sets of these to string around my 3 year old’s bed after the plug in ones we had stopped working. We only use the solid color feature as we turn them on to wind down before bed. It’s really nice to have a remote. I liked them so much I bought two more sets for Christmas for my 7 year old niece. She loves all the different flashing features. I just bought another set for my younger daughter who will be moving into a β€œbig girl bed” soon.

Wrote the below review the night I got htem.The next morning they wouldnt turn on. Both remotes dont work!!!! Super disappointing will return for sure.Super cute sturdy white white globes with a yellow light that you can control the brightness and it’s got 2 remotes worth 8 speeds of light and you can plug into usb port if you don’t want to use batteries in the actual chain of globesThey honestly are super cute

The long string of lights has 50 bulbs on it and is quite attractive and gives a nice effect. I plan to use one string around the centrepiece at each table at my wedding. The lights can be powered by 3 AA batteries ( not included) OR can be plugged in using the attached USB plug so you need a port ( not included ) from the USB plug to your power outlet. Remove the batteries if you plug them in. This would work well on a counter or nightstand or around a window or mirror that is near a power outlet. Note that each string of lights will be used independently ….you can’t join them together in sequence like strings of electric Christmas lights. There is a remote control that works very clearly and easily letting you choose options about the way you want the lights to shine ….on steady or flashing etc. They even include tiny clear plastic clothespins to help you pin up the lights to make your display. They are well packaged in a sturdy box. They seem to be well made and worth the price.

These have a nice warm glow. They are dim and not as bright as I thought. They would not work if you were to use them in lieu of a lamp (which was my plan) so I've strung them for bedtime glow. The 8 settings don't seem that different but I don't plan having them flash. I haven't had any issues with the remote as some people have commented. It's also nice that you can use batteries if not near a plug as well as the usb adapter to plug in. I'm happy with these. Cannot connect multiple strands together if you're wondering. Nice thin string that's clear and the bulbs are mini bulb shape.
