I just finished assembling the rain barrel. but as soon as I finish, I started getting a reaction on my hand. I’m having this burning sensation on my hands and they turned red.. I’m not sure if this rain barrel has fiberglass or treated plastic with chemical residue but whatever it is, it is causing such a severe reaction for me. Be careful or wear gloves.

"This review is for FAMIROSA 100 Gallon / 378L Collapsible Rain Barrel, Foldable PVC Rain Barrels to Collect Rainwater from Gutter, Portable Water Storage Tank Container with Hose Spigot, Water Catcher Collector Blue (Blue, 100 gallon)FAMIROSA 100 Gallon / 378L Collapsible Rain Barrel, Foldable PVC Rain Barrels to Collect Rainwater from Gutter, Portable Water Storage Tank Container with Hose Spigot, Water Catcher Collector Blue (Blue, 100 gallon)This is a quick and easy rain barrel to set up. The PVC barrels are good for quick and easy set up and take down, which is helpful for folks who get several months of freezing temps. I'm looking forward to setting this up under one of my drain spouts to get some of the water in our massive storms coming up. I didn't have any issues with setup and are going to get some pavers to put under the feet so they don't sink into the mud.NOTE: As an Amazon Vine reviewer, I receive this product without paying for it directly; however, I have to claim the full value of this product on my taxes as this counts as a taxable gift and I must pay taxes for the taxable value of this item."

This rain barrel arrived flat, and it took me less than ten minutes to put it together. Assembly was very straightforward. The rain barrel is fully enclosed. There is a full lid on the barrel, with a mesh-covered hole in the center that allows the water to enter, but nothing else. Having a fully enclosed barrel gives me peace of mind, because I don't have to worry about critters getting into the barrel. There's a gage on the side of the barrel that shows how much water the barrel holds at any given time, so I don't have to open the barrel to look at the water level.I'm using this barrel underneath the gutter/eavestrough of my garage. The barrel sits well on its own, even on grass it sits firmly without wobbling. The barrel seems sturdy and durable - no leaks. I like how easy it is to actually use water from the barrel - it has both a drain pipe and a spigot, and it comes with a compatible hose. The rain barrel has an overflow at the top of the barrel, which will allow excess water to drain from there instead of overflowing from the lid.I have always used plastic rain barrels in the past. While they've always worked for me, their critical flaw is that if I forget to bring them in once the temperatures start dropping for winter, they crack and are then rendered unusable. This PVC rain barrel is much more flexible than traditional hard brittle plastic, so I expect that this barrel will hold up better long term, even if I forget it outside when the temperature drops.I like this rain barrel. It was quick and easy to set up. It can be disassembled and folded up for storage, and it takes up much less space than a traditional plastic rain barrel. This rain barrel is fully enclosed, so it's safe to keep in my backyard without worrying about anyone or anything falling into it, and it's easy to use the spigot or drain hose to use the water contained in the barrel. I'm sure most of us pay for our water, so rain is like liquid money, and I want to keep and use as much of that free water as I can. This rain barrel catches the free rain water coming from my garage eavestroughs, which I can use to water my plants, trees or grass. Waste not, want not!

We use this in our backyard to harvest rainwater and save on our water bill. We use the water that is stored in here in our garden and side walkway. It is lightweight but sturdy and was easy to assemble, the large size holds a-lot of water, even though we never had it filled as much as it could be. it has a spout as well as an hose attachment so you can use it with an extra hose if needed. All in all its holding up well so far.

It was easy enough to set up without reading the instructions. I was left with the green hose and a skinny clear tube. It rained for a couple days soon after. I knew something was wrong when there was just a bit of water in the barrel. Everything drained from the port that is supposed to get plugged by the clear tube and level indicator. Don't make the same mistake as I did.
