Purchased to use on an upcoming cam swap. Have used before and this is THE set to purchase for LS engines. Seals everything well w/ high quality gaskets. Amazon has the best price I'd found as of 2/16/25.

Installation was pretty straightforward. Take your time, clean the surface well and make sure when installing the seal that, it is lined up square Don't forget to grease the new seal before installing crank pulley with Highly recommend replacing oil pump while timing cover is off. Which unfortunately, also includes removing the oil pan to do it properly it can be done without pan removal but very hard also most pans have an oil leak so a great time for maintenance

These gaskets are a universal fit for the GMT-800 generation of 4.8, 5.3 and 6.0L engines. I installed this on a 99 2500 non-HD with the cast iron head LQ4 block. Nice to have spare felt water pump gaskets on hand should I ever need to replace a pump on a rainy day.

Don’t waste your money on this set .. it is not a Fel pro product!! Comes in a brown cardboard flat package.. I’ve been a mechanic for over 30 yrs and have purchased many Fel pro product in the day and as every one knows Fel pro always has the company mark on everything!! Do not buy ! Buy another cheaper set because that’s what you’ll be getting!!

Great set. Installed new Melling oil pump, Gates water pump and Gates thermostat and housing at the same time. Been driving for 2 weeks since install and no leaks or problems so far. Very happy.
