I need to get another one of these for the other side of my car. Not only is this great for giving your dog a safety net for that seat gap but it's a wonderful addition for anyone who has the dog covers for backseat. I use mine for extra support and it's a game changer. Fits perfectly in my suv, hits almost the exact height of the seat and doesn't move. Not slippery and functionally makes a great support. It is a little pricey but for the safety and quality, I think it's worth it.

I love products like these to give my dogs more peace of mind and safety while in the vehicle and I was specifically looking for one that I could fit into the font seat leg area for whenever I needed to put my dog up front. This product meets those standards and barely goes down when my 100lb Rottie stands on it. It also gives her more space to lay down. However, one of the reasons I ordered this specific item was the reported versatility of it, such as it holding up to 220lbs (the photo of the person standing on it) and using it as a step. Im 175lbs and tried standing on it and it immediately caved in and started falling over. I also tried sitting on it and same thing. It’s great wedged between 2 seats or the front seat and console but I wouldn’t trust it standing upright and using it at a step. The handle on the side also almost immediately ripped off (there was a little pressure on it as it was wedged between 2 seats at the time). However, it’s perfect for my Rottie as a seat extender and I like it better than the hard storage one I have for the front seat (my other one won’t fit correctly). Overall, it’s perfect as a seat extender but I won’t be using it for anything else.

These just did not meet my requirements for supporting my pet seat where it overhangs the car seat that I buckle my larger dog into to transport. Maybe they’re fine for someone with small dogs, I was disappointed as the description made them seem more substantial.

I really like this back seat extender - I typically keep a full cover over the backseat for my 120lb Lab, but it moves around a lot and there is little to no support once he steps off the actual seat. This fits perfectly in my Jeep JKU (just sits a tiny bit higher than the seat, but can be arranged to fit better) and gives great support in those areas off the backseat. It's sturdy enough that it can support his weight as well so he no longer has to worry about falling into the 'hole'.It comes vacuum packed and needs a good day or so to fully expand and no smell either. It's a bit pricey, but worth the investment if you have a dog that's restless during drives in the vehicle.

I bought this to fill in a gap in front of the seats so that I could put a larger pet seat cover with a solid bottom for my Australian Shepherd. This piece where he will most likely be most of the time allows it to be a very solid surface. Even though the seat cover goes all the way up to the front seats and has a bottom piece, this allows it to be more sturdy giving him more shear footing and making him feel like he has no issues and nothing to worry about when he's back there. This took a couple of days to get to the size because it is shipped. Vacuum packed very small so I would allow it at least two full days to expand out to the size that it needs to be. But once it does it's very solid and very nice.

Honestly, I guess it doesn't matter but this does have a pretty 'cheap' feel to it! It has bright orange "handles" that are bone shaped on each side- and yes they are evident in photos ahead of time and not a complete surprise but didn't think they'd be so thin that I'd be worried they'd rip off or rip the cover to even pick it up! never mind repeatedly... not to mention the orange...;-) But that's a personal preference issue so I'll move on!This DID eventually open up to what I'd almost call fully expanded though still wrinkled looking- and I'm not overly excited about the level of protection I feel I'll get given the thin cover and NO waterproof protection at all for cleaning or longevity much less any kind of spill or accident! Was kinda a bit surprised to see the foam right there as you unzip the cover!Honestly- if this was say $25 or less I'd be giving it 4 stars... but for this price- it just feels like you should get a BIT more quality for a longer lasting solution for this issue!! Don't know about you but my pup usually has at least slightly dirty paws and I'm not feeling real sure about how long this thing's gonna hold up to not only cleaning needs but her nails if not perfectly trimmed short!Only time will tell how it holds up to her stepping up on it at 51-52 lbs... much less repeatedly. Will update as needed!!Not sure I can truly recommend this esp at the current price point of $41!! Would need a much heavier duty cover!

I don’t like those whole seat fabric covering extenders as then you usually can’t access seatbelts and I also need to worry about a car seat. Which means I can’t have both at a same time but this is a great alternative, gives my dog the extra space to lay down as he can’t lay length wise as again, the car seat, so this is perfect. And he does enjoy it and uses it as shown in the photos, plus you can leave it there with it being in the way or can just toss it in the trunk if you need the space but super easy to move it around and there’s no struggle to install it like the full length fabric ones . Happy to have found it!

I have two large dogs, and in the past I've used seat covers that took up the entirety of my back seat. My dogs really liked it, but was a pain if someone needed to sit in the back. This seat extender has made for a really great alternative: my dogs get the same comfort but it's easy to remove if someone needs to sit there. The material quality is good. It came flat packed, it took about 24 hours to reach full size. I'm happy and so are my pups!

This seat extender works really well. It's solid and does a great job at adding more stable area in the back that does not compress under load. Happy with it for this purpose though i will note that the construction isn't the greatest: the fabric feels thinner than I expected and the handle feels quite precarious.

This back seat extender for dogs, made of memory foam provides a stable and comfortable surface for our dog to rest and sleep on during car rides. Since our dog recently underwent hip surgery this has been an excellent purchase. We’ve also used it as a car ramp and dog stairs making it very versatile. The cover is easily removable and machine washable adding to its convenience. Overall, this is a great investment, especially for post-surgery cases like ours.

This is a foam based space filler that works well to fill in the space between the back seat and front seat of a vehicle. The top area has fiber board to give the product stability on the top and support the animal. This product worked well to fit in the back seat area of a 2022 WRX so my dog has more space to move around. The only issue is that the fiber board is not sitting enough for my 100lb dogs and has had some damage already. The sponge is thick and gives support while not being too rigid. The covering is made out of synthetic material and has an anti skid texture on the bottom. The covering can be zipped off and washed and easily put back on.Good for filling space between seats however pricy without a discount or coupon.

This product comes shrink wrapped so will take some time to fully expand after you cut it out of the packaging. The two handles are kind of flimsy so I don't recommend pulling on them too hard. The cushion comes with a side pouch but I personally won't be using it.A great idea to stop your dog from falling off the seat if you need to brake hard. This fits nicely between the from and back seat of my Dodge Grand Caravan. I have three huskie cross dogs, one of them being quite large so she used to balance herself when she sat on the seat. Every now and then she would slide off due to braking or cornering. Now she can sit comfortably and does not fall off at all. She weighs 95 pounds and this product appears to hold her weight well. The ad says that it can also be used as a step or as a ramp. I am thinking that it probably could be used for both but I will just use it as a seat extender for now.
