I like this lens hood. But for the price, you are better off with a Haoge. The Haoge comes with a metal lens cap, this Fuji one's lens cap is a cheap piece of plastic that if a little tab cracks will no longer stay on. The hood itself is really well made and the shape provides a lot of protection for your front element (better than the Haoge due to the sloping inward design of this one). However, Haoge's version comes with a metal lens cap for $55 and this one was $79 and has a plastic lens cap. I still use it on my XF 23mm, but I would recommend Haoge instead, especially at Fuji's price point.

I am not sure if my order came defective or if it was a mistake in the description. Here it says that it fits 33mm but it does not. Also on the box and the hood it clearly writes 23 only.

It's made of aluminum, which likely costs around $5 to manufacture. However, since it's a branded product, you're also paying for the name. It's an okay product at a stupid price.

Alright… first of all I really like the hood itself: it is durable, and I really like the design.But…Since it also works for 33 mm f1.4 (and I bought it for that), why do you have to print '23' on this hood??? My OCD is driving me crazy on this ;(And the cap of the hood is just so cheap, just a very thin piece of plastic that can be very easily bent. Apparently it is useless during actual shooting, but I still prefer some stronger protection when the lens is placed in the bag.

Awesome lens hood, much nicer than what comes with the lens. Love the look. The cover is a little flimsy but I almost never put it on.

Este es un producto excelente. Se ve súper elegante y protege de manera efectiva la lente de golpes y de luz parasita. Es una compra recomendable, sin embargo es un poco caro y también agrega tamaño y peso a la lente (el parasol suministrado también agrega tamaño). Lo uso en el Fujinon 33mm y se ve increíble.

It's really well machined, completely changes the look of your setup, thoroughly protects the lens front element from bumps, worth it.
