Water pump box arrived destroyed within an amazon box that was not. No packing within pump box and only a small wad of paper in amazon box. Even though it was handled extremely carelessly somewhere along the line the pump itself appears to be undamaged. There seems to be no extra play in the bearing and it spins freely by hand with no noise. Not going to install right away, but Gates was always a premium brand so will take a chance. Parts bag with gaskets were unharmed.

I've read that some people are having issues with these, but mine is working great. But I have mine on a boat and the impeller pump pumps water pretty well, so as long as the impeller is working, this pump should too.
