Very positive connections- they seem leakproof and the hose feels well built. I had been using cheap plastic hose and it just kept failing and causing damage. NEVER AGAIN!

Just wanted to report this hose kit worked flawlessly and reliably with the GE Cafe 4 door platinum glass refrigerator, 27.4cu.It replaced a metal hose and even took the place of the free brand new metal hose that lowes provided upon delivery.This hose hooks up and screws onto metal threaded hose adapters. Essentially it did an identical duty as the metal hose except it seems to be more sanitary and super flexible and kink resistant. I would recommend anyone who purchases a GE Cafe fridge, to buy this kit or the appropriate kit for your cafe model. It is worth the small fee. I really don’t know why it wasn’t included. Nonetheless, thank you Amazon for having it, having the genuine product, providing it in as promised brand new condition, and providing it to my possession in very fast time. Buy with confidence just double check and make sure this is the right kit part number for your cafe appliance model (there are a few different kit models and different hose lengths). This kit I believe was a healthy 8ft I believe. Maybe more, I forget. But not less than 8 feet. It had no problems being bunched up behind the fridge with 5 inches of clearance behind the fridge to the wall. No leaks and it’s been over a month. Fingers crossed but this hose n it’s connections seem high quality. I hope this helps someone who is a newbie diy when it comes to this stuff. Cheers.

Replaced 20+ year old fridge that used a copper tube for ice maker water supply. This poly tube is much more flexible and the compression fittings are built in. Easy install, everything fit, and no leaks so far after installing to new fridge. Makes for moving fridge in and out of alcove much easier.I can probably sell the copper tube for big bucks now.
