Pressure is good , but the self retracting is not strong enough to pull the hose in … you have physically help it. I’m not sure if giraffe knows how to maybe add more tension.

I’ve never had a pressure washer before and now I wonder how I ever got along without one. This pressure washer has a strong motor. It is meant to be attached to a wall and has a long 100-foot reel of hose. The hose is automatically retractable which is a nice, time- and effort-saving feature.Whenever I have any work done in or on my home, my driveway and front walkway always wind up being a mess afterward. Having a way to clean these two pathways off to avoid tracking grease, oil, tar and other substances into my home is a relief. Prior to having this pressure washer, I had to throw something absorbent like kitty litter on the substances, then wait for them to work, sweep it up then try again to remove the mess. It was usually a long, drawn out often unsuccessful adventure. It is also wonderful for washing the car. My brothers and best friend have all made use of it for this purpose. They park in the driveway and take turns while catching up. They all remark how much easier the job is using the pressure washer. The three of them are just waiting now for the below zero temperatures to be over so they can wash the dirt and grime from the winter off their vehicles. The pressure washer has four nozzles to choose from (0°, 15°, 25° and 40°) and a soap tank/foam cannon. Cleaning patio stones, wood fences, stone walls and brickwork has never been so easy. If you often need to do exterior cleaning of your property and/or vehicles, then this is a good investment. It is currently priced at $512.99 (March 2025).

Yes, it IS as satisfying as everyone jokes that it is.Watching your dirty deck, sidewalk, or driveway magically change colour to something that was buried and forgotten 10 years ago is pretty funny. It's a heavy unit and seems to be very well built, so it's tough to move around, but then to counter that it has a 100ft retractable hose with is definitely more than enough for me. From the garage, I'm able to very easily go to the short distance to the driveway and sidewalk at the front, and then I do need to move it a bit to reach my backyard for the deck, so I haven't mounted it yet.

The unit arrived in a well-packaged box. During the inventory check, all items listed in the manual were accounted for. The first thing that caught my eye was the long retractable hose. Secondly, the build looks durable and sturdy. Lastly, the foam pot and spray wand have designated storage spots in the unit, giving it a very organized appearance—an essential feature for a garage.Assembly is straightforward. The included manual is well-written. The hardest part was choosing a location for the unit. Since my garage wall isn’t concrete, I reinforced it with a ¾” x 2’ x 2’ piece of marine plywood screwed into the studs. The metal sliding base is thick and easy to install. Simply connect the unit to the water source, plug it in, and it's ready for use.The pressure is strong enough to clean my cars and driveway. The ease of using it by pulling the hose and letting it retract after is incomparable. No more sweat pulling the starting rope of my old gas washer. The next test, though, will be its longevity.

I like the Giraffe products - the reels work well and the units perform well for their price range but are EXTREMELY convenient to use - I have a bigger and more capable pressure washer, but these are the ones that get used frequently because they are so convenient to use. We now have four mounted around the property.A pressure washer this easy to use and this convenient gets used - its just a matter of turning it on and pulling out the hose - and the hose retract means that putting it away is almost as simple -This is the highest power of the Giraffe pressure washers - and the quietest - but it also uses the least water per minute -There are issues - first, this uses a lot of pressure to remove things from a surface - but the amount of water used is almost too little to rinse away the dirt you removed - so its a challenging balance. I would prefer a little more flow but the pressure will remove things that a less powerful stream will not lift off the surface. The low water use is a huge advantage for big projects - you use as little as a tenth of the water of a full flow hose nozzle - and remove things a hose would never get off the surfaceThe nozzles for this are a 014 size - substituting a generic nozzle will result in a huge loss of pressure - so the nozzle opening size is critical to the performance - and most orbiting "Zero Degree" nozzles will struggle to work with this little flow. With the provided nozzles it works great but you will need to get replacements from Giraffe -Overall, this is a little lower water flow rate than I would like, but the pressure is great for general cleaning and the hose length and retracting reel is a huge convenience. Its a very nice pressure washer for a lot of general cleaning needs and potentially a great tool for where water use is restricted or water is very expensive. Its a good tool at a reasonable price.

I really love this product!I have another model of this same unit but did swap it for this one because of the features on this one.I also have a HIGH PSI gas unit but this product is the one that GETS USED with its design and qualityInstallation is a 2x man job to get mounted on the wall - make sure the bracket is securely mounted ( I HIGHLY recommend getting this in studs / using a blocking etc to make sure it is secure)This is heavy and takes some lateral stress when pulling things around so be safe and mount this well. The performance and pressure on this unit is wonderful, rarely do I come across something this unit will not handle.Being so easily accessible in the garage this gets used all the time.Rated at 3300 PSI and 1.4gpm this will do heavy cleaning and also the lighter work like soaping down the truck and washing.I run a floor washer off this and it works great! I could eat off the floor now... LOLBest feature here is the power down feature that turns this off when the trigger if not pulled, just such a game changer and I expect the unit to last longer as a result also!If you are looking at this and wondering if you'll like and USE this, just get it, you will love it and every day you'll notice a use for it that you may not have if it wasn't hanging on the wall and ready to go!Seriously, I can take 2 min and accomplish something I would not have before...

This unit has replaced a 15 year old portable power washer, and a 50' garden hose. It fits neatly in the place occupied by the garden hose that it replaced, and we don't have to storage the old power washer anywhere because I gave it to a friend. Also, this unit is available instantly without having to log out from the basement. W did experience a bit of leakage through the side, as others have commented, but that was fixed with a bit more tightening of the joining coupler. The retractive mechanism works well, eliminating the hand cranking in the old garden hose. Time will tell about reliability, and wear. So far, very happy with the purchase.

This review is for Giraffe Tools most expensive “PRO” model. I already have Giraffe Tools less expensive “Plus+” model. Following are the specification differences between the PRO and the Plus+:PROPower – 1800W induction motorMetal Spring – 8000 cycles lifetime – 153 years if used once every weekend.Noise - 70-80 DBMax PSI - 3300Max GPM - 1.6Rated PSI - 2500Rated GPM – 1.1Plus+Power – 1800W brush motorMetal Spring – 3000 cycles – 58 years if used once every weekend.Noise - 90-93 DBMax PSI - 2400Max GPM – 2.0Rated PSI - 2050Rated GPM – 1.1The “Metal Spring” is what is used to automatically rewind the hose reel.“Max PSI and GPM” are measurements of the maximum the pressure washer produces for an instant. By knowing the max, consumers have an idea of the potential risk of property damage or personal injury.“Rated PSI and GPM” are what are produced during use.It is difficult to compare different sellers PSI and GPM as there is not a universal certifying agency.I have been pressure washing for the past 20-25 years. This electric wall-mounted unit eliminates the setup and shutdown/storage of gasoline and portable electric pressure washers. The only steps needed are turning on the water and switching on the power. The unit is connected to water and electricity 24/7. Now, anything I want to clean, I do it with no overhead discouraging me!The 100 ft. long hose reaches anywhere I need. It is flexible which prevents kinks and twisting of the spray gun. The hose easily unwinds from the reel and reliably locks at the length desired. It automatically rewinds neatly. The 6 ft. lead-in hose has a screen filter and large FEMALE hexagonal connectors on BOTH ENDS that are easy to grip by hand and tighten. If leaking, a wrench can be used for slight tightening. If the lead-in hose is not long enough so a garden hose is substituted, the garden hose has a male connector at one end. The pressure washer also has a male connector. To connect the male garden hose to the male pressure washer connector requires a Female-to-Female adaptor.I like the convenience of the nozzles being stored on the lance. With other pressure washers, the nozzles are stored on the unit which is inconvenient to walk back to the unit every time you want to switch nozzles. Two cons regarding this unit involve mounting the unit:1. The plate that mounts to the wall is 6 ½” wide and 8” tall which works fine for an exterior brick wall. I think the plate should be wide enough to span wall studs for interior mounting. The unit is wide enough where a plate this wide would not be seen once the washer is mounted. Mounting fasteners are included.2. If mounted to an exterior wall, the unit should have a mechanism to lock the unit to the mount. Currently the mount is shallow and there are no holes or slots in the pressure washer that can be used to route a steel braided cable and lock, etc.The unit has recessed side handles making it easy to transport, install or remove from the wall mount. While the included foam cannon sprays a thick foam that adheres well, the bottle design is lacking. This is probably a non-issue because anyone that would purchase this pressure washer probably already owns a full-size cannon. Pouring soap concentrates into the narrow ¾” opening without spilling is difficult. The bottle is opaque white making it difficult to see the level of the contents. The bottle has no measurement markings on the outside to assist with diluting concentrates. This pressure washer has very clean lines. The outer panels are curved or flat with only openings for the following. A garden hose connection on the left side. Power switch on the right side. The front only has the hose reel visible and the tops of the wand and foam cannon in their holders. There is also a clean lines optional fabric cover available that prevents discoloration and deterioration of the plastic if exposed long-term to the sun. The cover has a Velcro opening for the lead-in hose. The cannon and wand can also be left in place.A nozzle clog removal wire tool is included. While the wire tool is strong, it is too wide to pass through nozzle openings. It can only be used from the backside to attempt to remove blockagesThe manual is bound with staples, well-written, complete, has color pictures and is also downloadable from GiraffeTools.com. Videos are available on social media. There is a 2-year warranty against defects in parts and materials. The on-line registration at GiraffeTools.com includes invoice storage for convenience. Giraffe Tools is available via phone.I did have an issue with my unit so contacted Giraffe Tools for support. We exchanged several emails and their replies were always the same or the following work day! The shipment to resolve my issue was received less than 2 weeks after my initial contact.I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this pressure washer!

so these are alittle on the pricey side, but there is a reason for it. this is certainly one of the best pressure washers i've had. just be careful not to use a low degree tip at close range if you are washing something that is painted. it can and will strip paint where there are imperfections.
