コンパクトで、愛用のポシェットに何とか収まった。純正のキャブが装着出来るのが良い。シルバーボディにブラックのフードを購入したが、精悍な感じになった。

I tried the original Fuji hood but did not like it, as it doesn't lock in place and blocks the camera's ovf and flash. I highly recommend this Haoge hood as it solves the above issues. Please note if you are using a thicker filter (like Glimmerglass) there is a very slight gap aesthetic wise due to the hood piece not being able to screw in all the way; however, the filament still felt very secure.

I like having a lens hood to protect the lens and the UV filter that keeps my x100v weather sealed. Probably the least expensive filter adapter for the x100v. Using this now instead of the rectangular hood I was using previously, this adds less depth and if I need to pull the hood off to stack a circular polarizing filter on, there is no pesky o-ring to lose. It's a little more stealthy than the rectangular one as well, get less looks from camera guys out shooting on the street.

I bought this to use with my Fujifilm X100V and it is perfect! Excellent quality and looks, while protecting the lens from bumps. An added bonus is that the OEM lens hood fits perfectly! Just know that if you have a Fujifilm version other than the X100V the OEM cap will not fit. My solution (when I owned the X100F) was to simply buy an X100V lens hood. While JJC released a similar hood, this one is more compact, which I prefer. Highly recommended!

I was a bit skeptical about this product after reading reviews about trouble with the threads. Dunno if I got lucky or what, but mine screwed in easily on the first try and fits great. But what really pleases me is the fact that I can put a full size filter (in my case, a Cinebloom 5%) between the adapter and the hood, WITHOUT ADDING ANY MORE BULK! The hood actually covers the outer edge of the filter entirely and hides it within. I think the bright red ring of the Moment filters are kind of silly looking so this was a doubly awesome surprise.I'm very happy to have a low profile hood, my camera properly weather sealed, and the lens protected— all in a compact but affordable package. Double bonus for accommodating a full thickness filter and managing to hide it as well. All this without mentioning... the original lens hood fit snugly on top. Ingenious design! The color match to the black is not 100% but as you can see from my image, it definitely looks right. You'd have to be a real stickler to take issue with it.

The truth is, this item is not at all as good looking as the square hood that Haoge or the more expensive Squarehood brand makes, but it keeps the camera compact, it's built well and accommodates the original lens cap. I originally bought the Haoge square hood and lost my mind trying to get it to align properly (not land crooked when screwed in) so, I returned it. In the end, I sacrificed looks for headache free function.

Low profile, good material and what’s best (to me) is that the original lens cap fits just fine. It also fits Fuji’s leather case.

Good addition for my Fujifilm x100v. Discreet hood that doesn’t protrude. It’s good quality and protects both against sunlight but also from touching the front elements of the camera. Plus it looks good. Many people ask if you can use this with a filter. For the x100v the product description says that you cannot, but it’s not entirely true. I combined it with a slim UV filter and it was a perfect fit. I’m not sure if it would work with a thick filter though. Some people had issues with the original Fujifilm cap not fitting tight. I tried it and it has a very good suction. It doesn't just fall of. Of course if you push it or rub it against something it will eventually come off, but I would be very confident having the cap on. To be honest I don't see the reason though. If you combine this with a UV filter you are good to go.

Not for the X100v. The cap fits too loose and falls off at the slightest movement. This is meant for the previous versions where the cap has a smaller internal diameter. Length of it is ok the lens clears the filter. But better off with the JCC version model 1 the short hood cap fits on nice and snug

At first I had a JJC one the same shape but too long one.The Haoge version much shorter and keep UV filter inside as well. For the street photography you want your camera to be as compact as possible. The only thing that reduce my joy is that the original X100V lens cap sitting a bit loose on my copy of this hood.I had the same hood from Haoge on my X100T before and lens cap fitted much better...Anyway it's the best lens hood for X100V on my opinion. I tried many of them on my X100 series cameras and on my friends X100 cameras as well.

Very slim profile and great build quality. Colour and style matches perfect with my black x100v.4 stars because the lens hood does not screw all the way in while using my black pro mist 1/4 filter. There is a slight gap that is barely noticeable. It feels stable however, no worries of the lens hood loosening.
