It’s a beautiful product and made very well BUT unfortunately it doesn’t not fit the new Fujifilm X100VI. There seems to be an additional thread to the new lens preventing the hood from completely touching the lens, leaving a pretty large gap. Visually doesn’t look great and not sure it makes the lens weather sealed now. It’s unfortunate because we reached out to the company and said they don’t plan on updating it for the new model. I don’t recommend buying it for this reason if you have a new X100VI.

ユーザーのコメントにある開口部と本体が並行にならないと言う意味がわからなかったのですが、締め込み限度点の事かな、そりゃバラつくでしょうって事で締め込み満了から少し戻して並行にしています。それでOKです。

Although the quality of the materials used is impeccable, I can't say the same about the functionality. First, no matter how you try to place the lens hood, it ends up in the vertical position I indicated in the photo. I spent over an hour trying to install it properly, but unfortunately, it never worked. Furthermore, it's important to know that the diameter of the lend hood is much larger than that of the lens, making the focal ring hardly accessible. This product has been a total waste of money for me.

IGNORE the negative reviews of this hood not fitting correctly. The hood has threads right up until the edge, just tweak it until it lands straight on your camera. It’s perfect and literally took me an extra 45 seconds to get it right. Separate the adapter ring from the hood itself, get the ring on the camera, screw the hood on and see where it ends up. If it’s crooked, back it off, once it’s no longer threaded, turn it 1/4-1/2 turn and start it again. It’ll eventually end up straight. Great quality, amazing look.

I read a lot of mixed reviews about this fitting or not fitting the fujifilm lens cap and also about it not lining up straight. At first I couldn’t get it straight. It felt loose. But after playing around with it for a few minutes, I got it snugly on and straight:) also it fits under the fujifilm lens cap perfectly! So happy with this purchase! Much cheaper than square hood brand!

I was worried that it would be crooked on my camera since there are a lot of reviews stating that it doesn't screw on straight. I figured out how to adjust the ring and the hood so that it was tight and straight on after a couple minutes of messing around with it. If you are reading this and have read the reviews Im talking about, there is nothing wrong with the lens hood, it just takes a bit of adjusting to get it on your fuji properly. Lens hood is solid, great material and looks amazing. Bought it for my Fuji X100F and it fits perfect. Only downside to it is that the Fuji lens cap doesn't fit over it properly so now I don't have a lens cap. The lens hood offers some protection for the lens but obviously wont stop dust from getting inside while its in your bag or sitting around for a bit. Overall really happy with it.

Fujifilm doesn't include a lens hood with the X100V and for the money, they really should in my opinion but here we are. The search for the best lens hood for the X100 series and this definitely is the one...well for me anyways.I bought the camera to be a EDC/Travel/Documentary/Backup camera to my XT4 and I didn't want to compromise the size of the camera. I wanted to keep it compact as I could. This square hood by Hoage doesn't add to the bulk nor weight of the camera. It doesn't affect the OVF very much and it does a wonderful job at blocking stray light and providing more contrast as well as giving you something extra to grab onto.Installation was tricky to say the least. I say to sit down, grab a coffee watching your favorite show and keep playing with it until you get the alignment right. I took me a good 15-20 minutes, the gasket makes it hard to turn be I ensure, it will keep turning. Just do 1/4 turns at a time, it will get very tight but this is what you want so it doesn't come loose. The quality is great, no complaints. When I took the hood out of the box, I accidently dropped it on the floor and it made a loud DING! and bounced back up with me catching it. It didn't leave a single mark on the hood, didn't dent it or anything but it left the mark on the floor! I'd say its built pretty well!As for the filter I am using, as well all know the X100V is weather sealed but requires a filter to protect the front element as it extends externally when focusing. I am using a B+W 66-1066114 (Amazon:B004OVE16U) and its fits PERFECT! Good quality too, doesn't affect images...in fact it might help them. This is a good alternative to the expensive Fujifilm kit or the fancy overpriced Sweden alternative. I HIGHLY recommend this lens hood!

An extremely well thought out and designed lens hood. Fit and function is outstanding! The finish matches my black Fuji X100V and oozes durability. It accepts my 49mm filter and was very easy to install. It adjusts squarely to the camera body. Thank you Haoge and Amazon for a product that I can easily highly recommend. Thank you!

This is a sexy looking hood. It's simple to install and works with my black mist filter just fine. It requires a firm hand to screw onto the camera, which makes it feel secure when it's on, unlike the fuji hood that fits so loose I lost it...My issue with it, and the reason why I'm considering a return, is that it impedes the flash, requiring the removal of the (firmly screwed on) hood to avoid casting a shadow. The Fuji hood also cast a shadow, although that was so easy to snap on and off it didn't cause an issue. This firmly attached hood might not be so easy to work with.If you use the flash a lot, or want to have the option without unscrewing the hood, then this hood isn't for you.

Fits perfectly on my x100v. If there is one comment I would add is that the genuine Fuji lens cap doesn’t fit well on it as advertised. It will go on but it’s not square and comes off easily
