Installation:
Step1: Remove the ring from camera.
Step2: Insall the adapter ring to the lens.
Step3: 49mm Filter can be install to front of adapter ring ( the filter is not included ).
Step4: Screw the lens hood to the adapter ring, until lens hood horizontality ( don't need to screw to the end ).

So far, so good.I purchased it as an accessory for my Fujifilm X100VI.It pairs well, but as someone mentioned, if you're trying to twist it to the tightest point to where it's not turning, then it doesn't line up correctly with the camera.It's maybe a quarter turn off, but if you line it up correctly, it's still tight enough to not have any wiggle room.I do like that it adds a bit more security space for the lens.For the adapter ring, that works fine.

The craftsmanship of the Haoge products seems to be fine and I actually like some of the products for the price point if it's just to add a little customization to the camera. However none of the square or rectangular products I've bought have aligned well on my Fuji x100vi, which is a huge bummer. Again, not a big deal since they are so cheap but it brings up a few points, why not make these slightly adjustable to compensate for the misalignment issues. Secondly, why doesn't Fuji make a dedicated square hood for the x100vi
