I love this hat, but I think that my little guy, who is older than the target age, but with a head circumference in the target size may just have a shape of head that isn't as ideal for this hat. I find it doesn't want to stay on as well as I had hoped. This may be a factor that 3 yr olds do have a different shaped head than 1-2 year olds. So mind the age and the circumstances while looking at this

I love this adorable hat. It's well made and an elastic allows for stretching to accommodate various head sizes. Note that it's likely too small for a newborn's head, but they'll grow into it.
