Your cart is empty.There is no doubt that Johnny Winter is one of the great blues and rock guitarists of all time. He has been making records for over three decades and playing live with the best, for example Don James Marshall Hendrix and James Douglas Morrison. The Scene in the year 70 in full bubbles and doses in industrial quantities of talent and experimentation, giving the last breath to Generation 27. This 'Hey, where's your brother?' from 1992 is great. Pure Blues in it's purest state. Pure blues in a state of grace. On the classic 1972 live album Roadwork, Edgar Winter immortalized the words, when introducing brother Johnny: "Everybody asks me... where's your brother?" It's a question that fans have besieged both Winters with for over two decades, and now Johnny gets a chance to return the tribute with his latest. Edgar does in fact guest on the sessions, blowing sax and tinkling keys on a few tracks, and duetting with big bro on a superb, seasonal rendition of "Please Come Home for Christmas."

This album was under my radar when it was released. I just discovered it and it's become one of my favorite JW records. Just a lot of fun.

I loved this a lot. A great, well rounded album, which flows from start to finish. This is probably the last great Johnny, before the mid to late 90's change. This album is just pure JW - great songs, THAT playing and his (still - just) fiery vocals. Loved the studio sound as well - sounded like 'live in the studio'. I would love to hear some live recordings from this period. Sadly, the only 90's release is the 1998 one, and by that time, the playing had slightly diminished. JW - at your best, you rivalled Clapton.

なんかセッションライブ？なイメージで聞いてなかったけど、相変わらず一発目の ギターのリフで しびれさせられました。ついつい ギターを 弾きたくなる 事間違いなし！！ さすが‼︎あざーす！！

I have several of Johnny Winter's records, and I usually enjoy his works, especially the bluesy stuff. But this one was a bit of a disappointment.It's not that these fourteen songs are bad, most of them are just mediocre...a couple of generic rock n' roll tunes, and some equally unimaginative blues. The musicianship is excellent as always, and a few tracks do live up to Winter's high standarts, most notably the fine acoustic slide guitar number "Blues This Bad", and cover versions of "No More Doggin'" and Willie Dixon's "I Got My Brand On You". But "Hey Where's Your Brother" ultimately ends up being a mediocre album...not a bad one, sure, but a rather forgettable one.

Outstanding disc full of blues and rockin' music. Perfect CD for driving. This will quickly get your heart pounding and your foot stomping. Wonderful mix of tunes and the usual awesome guitar playing of Johnny. Not a bad tune on the CD.
