Like so many others I do not feed my predator fish live as you can't count on them to be healthy instead these pellets are the full mean deal for the fish and they seem to really like them .these ones float they dont sink till they have been in water at least an hour

I put these in water for a few seconds and drop them in one by one. No mess at all. Even the picky eating fish love them. It is easier to break them after a few seconds in water, that way I can give a treat to my juvenile Angelfish. They smell a little but not as bad as other fish food. I tried other pellets, but always go back to these. Worth the extra money in my opinion. Add a drop of water to each one and then feed your fishy friends. Absolutely no mess if you do this. It cuts down on the gravel vacuum chores.
