I replaced my dead heater with this model and after over a year it is still working well. It holds accurate temperature in my 55 gallon set up. I would recommend this heater to anyone who needs to replace theirs.

Trash. It says it's at the temperature but the water is cold. Less than 1/2 year old and stopped working properly. Don't risk your pets like I did.

Sehr gute und genaue Heizung. Ich habe in anderen Rezensionen gelesen das sich die Heizung nicht auf Grad umstellen lässt. Das stimmt nicht. Der Bedienknopf muß nur etwas länger gedrückt werden, dann springt die Anzeige um.

This is the best heater for my aquarium that I have ever had. I've had all the other big name brands, but this beats them hands down. The ability to control the temperature from the external control box saves the messy job of having to dig into the tank all the time to adjust the temperature.This 500W heater easily copes with my 80 gallon tank & maintains the temperature within 0.3 deg C of the set temperature. The temperature differential of 0.3 deg C means the water temperature remains very stable, unlike other heaters that allow sometimes up to 2 deg C change before activating.Quality of construction seems excellent & if it's reliable over time, it will be an absolute bargain. Hugely recommended.

This heater was very easy to install into our 50 gal tank. The instructions were a little short! The display is set for Fahrenheit, and it took a bit of fiddling to get it into celcius. It did flip back to Fahrenheit soon after, but I assumed that 52F was equivalent to the 24C that I wanted. I liked that the temp display was constant. The price was very good, compared to a pet store.

This heater is really great on my black backed aquarium. I love the accurate temperature display and easily adjustable settings without hvaing to dip my hand in the tank.

I have 4 of these heaters (two 200 watt, one 300 watt and a 500 watt) now and so far they work very well. I can’t vouch for the accuracy of the heat, because I use INKBIRD controllers to manage the temperature. But I can say they are a nice size, and seem extremely well built. The suction cups are the best I’ve seen on any heater or other pieces of aquarium equipment. They heat much faster than the previous heaters I was using. The cord length is perfect if you power outlet is a ways away from your aquarium. And the power cord is a heavy gauge wire, unlike a lot of heaters. I’ve only had them running for a couple of weeks, so I can’t say how long they last. But I will update my review if I have any issues or if one of them dies. I’ll likely be buying a couple more 300 watt heaters as well.
