These were easy to put on. No issues with the zippers. I am skeptical about the durability or longevity of the material because it is VERY thin. I may be wrong about that so I may come back later to update.

The cover did not come as described. The one I received does not have a zipper, does not have a flap to cover the top cap. It did however have a drawstring cord at the bottom but I'm not sure how that would be useful. It is a very thin fabric that looks like it would fray where the top hole has been cut.

The delivery of the tote cover was given to a neighbour down the street from me. But it was returned to me. But I had already filed for an investigation through Canada Post. I was sure someone stole it, but was happy to receive it from my neighbour today.It fits with enough room, that you can easily slip it over your water tote. I lifted the pipe that goes into my tote from the down spout. Then there is a Velcro flap on top of this tote cover to open and that let my water pipe drop into the top of the tote.There are four securing straps that attach to each corner of the tote, to hold it down during a wind storm. There is also the zipper in the front. Plus a draw string at the bottom of the tote cover to hold it securely in place.The inside of the tote cover is a silver reflective material to help warm your water up. The outside is black to help absorb heat from the sun. The cover stops UV rays and stops algae green growth in the tote water.The outside appearance is dramatically improved over the black garbage bags and duct tape that I was using. To cover the tote tank in lattice was about $500.00. This cover delivered from China, cost me about 46.00. Wow! What a magnificent idea to beautify your tank area.I have an extension cord going to a water pump under the tote tank stand. But the cord easily was relocated to the outside of my tote cover.I can see this cover lasting through all weather conditions for several years. I just got it, but am quite impressed with it so far.

Fits well, BUT there was no side inspection flap nor cover over the top fill area as was shown in the pictures. It was also a light single fabric ply not 2 layers as shown in the photos. Amazon needs to set up to weed out false and misleading suppliers.

Prevented the water from turning green in the summer and from freezing in the winter. On the 300 gallon totes , it covers the spigot, and it did not freeze. The larger tote the spigot did freeze, but thawed quickly. The silver lining seem to be very efficient. Well made. Very satisfied with this purchase. Will be getting one more soon.

This item is not as described or as pictured. It does not have a flap on the top and does not have a zipper on one side. In addition the item was damaged it was cut on one corner. When I tried to return it I got a shipping label that could not be identified and although it was shipped from California the address for the return was in Canada making the return cost well over the cost of the product.

This is not a heavy duty cover, but appears strong enough to keep light out and stop moss from growing. My tank is under a tree, so this should help block all the remaining light out. The cover is black on outside and reflective type silver on the inside.
