I think it is a good product and it looks nice. The packaging was very simple and it had no product information with it. I had to double check the product webpage to ensure the proper wiring method. That was my main gripe. It was found easily enough but I did have to stop and look it up.

nice switch, worked for my application, I also used a relay to power my ditch lights, I'm an electrician, but it's seriously not hard to figure out how to install

I knew the built in LED required a current limiting resistor externally, and I went though the wiring effort to do so. But I bought a different switch with the same function which does not require an external resistor. It only needs a 12 volt DC source and is internally biased.Shop around for the best switch for you needs.

This is how you wire it, and it’s very simple:• The green wires are the power wires (20a) going through the switch (just like any toggle switch).• The black wire connects to any negative point in your system (it’s the negative for the LED light in the switch, and has nothing to do with what you’re switching power to).• The red wire is the positive for the LED light. If you want the light to go ON only when you push-in the switch, Connect the red wire to the green power wire that leaves the switch. If you want the light to be ON constantly, connect the red wire to the green power wire feeding the switch from the fuse.Think about it for a minute and you’ll realize how simple it is.

Works like it's supposed to. Wiring diagram is a little bit confusing but just remember to wire black to ground as usual and either green wire can be input or output. The only difference is to run the red signal wire for the LED ring as either Always On and wire the red wire to the input side or only on when button is pressed, in which case you would wire it inline to the output side.

I purchased a pair of these switches for use on my homemade instrument panel on my open aluminum fishing boat. It is used to run the live well fill pump on the boat. The second one I ordered as a spare and/or for a future, yet to be chosen/ installed item. It has spent a season on Lake Erie in some fairly challenging conditions, including full weather exposure during outside storage periods as well as on-water operation and there have been no issues thus far. I had previously attempted to use a cheaper switch with a small rubber cap that proved totally useless and failed the first time out. I would have given this item a full five star rating if there had been proper instructions included with the switch, but I was able to find comprehensive instructions for the installation online. It would be an easy and inexpensive fix for the manufacturer to include said instructions as should be expected. That small glitch aside, this seems to be a solid choice for my all weather application thus far.
