I only say that this is expensive because I got this exact pirate chicken at my local giant river for 3.99CAD... so not willing to pay $12 for it. But it lasted my olde English bulldog weeks before even losing its squeak!! I've never had a squeaky chicken last so long and it's the only toy she will play with so we go through them very fast. She's very rough with them as well, whipping and hitting things with it and incessantly squeaking it for 30+ minutes at a time, and it still lasted nearly three weeks before losing squeak. Definitely recommend, but perhaps look around for a cheaper price if you can.

I didn't buy this for my dog { I don't even own a dog }I had a photoshoot schedule with someone that proclaimed to be uncomfortable when being photographed. So I came to the conclusion that I needed something to loosen him up. So I started searching for a Rubber Chicken ! The Rubber Chicken arrived, and the photoshoot was postponed.Luckily I had to photograph my brother-in-law's birthday party the next week, and I didn't want the Rubber Chicken sitting unused for a few weeks. I was able to use it when photographing all the babies at the party, and used it to entertain a few of the adults. Although my wife got upset with me when I snuck it into the photograph with a Four Star General . . .

My dogs like the soft rubber. It takes a lot of effort to get it to squeak let alone scream. Please make more soft silicone toys

This chicken dog toy my dog really likes, she’s a puppy. She’s played an played with it has not put a whole in it or tore it at all and she’s loves it plays with it a lot.Thanks great durable toy

Our puppy was scared at first from the noise, but he has another squeaky toy and is also scared of it for the first squeak. This one only lasted 1-2 minutes and there was big hole in it. Not safe. Will be returning.

This makes the strangest honking sound, but it's funny and my dog goes nuts for it!!! My dog carries it around and squeaks it constantly. My only concern is that it cracked on both sides of the beak just after we got it due to bending when being chewed on. So far so good though. And she sleeps with it :)
