Good for some situations such as sitting up in bed. Surface is very smooth and slippery so my laptop and phone keeps sliding off.

This is a great little table for bed time for a variety of uses. I bought it planning to use with my laptop but end up using it more for a nail station. Very versatile. The kids like it for the iPads and being pampered when sick. It’s heavy but not too heavy and sturdy with no concerns about collapses.

I love the metal legs, love the colour, love that the cup holder has notches to hold up a phone and a hole for a charge cord. Size is good! Single complaint is I would love for there to be a clip or something to prevent the top from flinging open by itself when it’s being moved😅 but do not regret the purchase!

Deceptively small compared to advertisement photos. Table is flimsy, the legs keep collapsing on its self- so not steady at all. It feels very cheap, cupholder keeps falling out (and is so small you can't even fit a normal size cup in it). Not very much clearance with the small legsThe only pro is that it came super fast.

This allows me to stay in bed forever with my water and for that alone it deserves four stars at least.My cons: It is on the heavier side. The part that can be adjusted (to angle your laptop up in the photos shown) can't be fixed to the main frame, so if you're carrying it the wrong way it'll just flap down. If you're careful shouldn't be an issue though. When you open the table legs be sure to open it ALL the way and even overextend a little, otherwise when you climb into bed the legs will buckle.

I believe some of the reviews are talking about a different lap desk, but this one hits it all for me. I did a ton of research before choosing this laptop desk.First, this folds up smaller than many of the ones out there, which is great, I love smart portable things that do their job well.I didn't go with the bamboo lap desks even though I was tempted, many people complained of splinters and bad sanding jobs so I decided to just go with this.This has a faux grain woodwork pattern on the black top, as well as the legs. It's a nice little detail which I appreciate. The little fans work great, they create a nice little breeze when plugged into my MacBook Pro.I really like how everything clicks into place, especially the platform that you put your laptop on. The baffles (the pieces at the bottom that keeps the laptop from sliding off) open up automatically when you push up the platform, which is really clever in my opinion.I found myself wishing that the table would lock into place as it folded up when I moved the whole thing. But then I read the listing again and saw that there's an L-shaped piece of metal that would lock it, and that's located under the platform, neatly tucked away.Take that out, find the locking hole at the bottom of the right panel of the desk (it's a bit tricky to find, you might have to use a small torchlight) and push the L-shaped pin in. Viola! No more folding!The only thing is that I'd prefer a more secure locking mechanism for the legs, you'll have to swing them out to the maximum angle to get the pressure of the desk push down on them so you can "lock" them into place.The height of the legs is adjusted and locked by a spring-loaded mechanism that does make quite a bit of noise when adjusting. I would also prefer a more secure + easier locking mechanism for this, like the way they lock camera tripod stands. But that's a minor thing, I extend to the maximum height anyway.Overall, I find this very clever and well-designed, 10/10 would recommend.

This is an awesome and well made Lap Desk. I have a 15.6 inch Lap top on it currently and it holds it with no problems. I have room for my mouse and my drink.I am going back to college online and this will make working from anywhere really useful. So happy I found it!

I work for hours every day on a computer (software developer + grad student) and while I have a standing desk, I find myself getting bored and anxious just being at my desk for 10+ hours every day, regardless if I am sitting or standing. This helps me to set up my desk area almost anywhere in my house. The adjuster is very convenient as well-- I can angle my laptop however I want. I expected this stand to be made from cheap materials and/or to be very small because I thought this might have been originally manufactured for children. However, it is adult-size, heavier than I expected, and much better quality than I expected. I was attracted to the baby pink color and expected shoddy quality (I've found that brightly colored and/or cute things tend to be poorer quality) but was pleasantly surprised to find that not only is this stand super cute and super pink, it is also very functional and sturdy! I've used mine (heavily) for a few months now, and there are zero signs of wear or tear so far.

I got this first to use while sitting in bed for when my hubs is ready to go to sleep and I'm not, second to be able to stand at my work desk. I am beyond shocked at how well it works for both!! Besides this desk being beautifully designed, it's well put together and not nearly as heavy as some of the others I have seen! The legs extend nicely, I can put them straight up or slanted or open all the way, it's nice to have the option...I love that the computer part of the desk can be adjusted, I know this will come in handy as I get lower and lower in my bed falling asleep...I do like that it has a cup holder and that it is deep enough that the cup or bottle won't fall out if you move the desk, the only thing I wish is that it was back just a little bit and more to the right as to not be in the way of the mouse, but not a deal-breaker!! I have a small mouse pad, more or less, so it does fit rather nicely, although it would fit even better if the spot for the mouse was maybe 2 inches wider, it is definitely NOT a deal-breaker. I love that it folds up flat when not in use and can be stored pretty much anywhere bc it is small enough to fit. There should be a clip or something holding the top from opening when trying to store it on its side, I did pinch my fingers a few times when I picked it up, no biggie, I know it does it so I can add my own little closure...The legs are strong, I can put weight on them when leaning on the desk, I wouldn't suggest sitting on it or anything, but you can lean on it enough to do what you need to do...Overall, I am so excited for this new addition to my office!!! I love that I will get so much use out of it!! The price was not bad, I think it was worth it, but I know I can get a lot of use out of it. The build is nice, the look is nice, I am really happy with it!!! I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to make their work at home life easier as you can sit or stand at your desk!! That truly is my favorite part!
