We have a very old (1930s) door. Not a standard thickness, so unable to have a deadbolt lock. This little lock gives us a little more peace of mind in addition to the doorknob lock. FYI make sure both sides are level for the lock to align and work.

tout semble bien, mais les vis sont de mauvaise qualité.... ça devrait être obligatoire de mettre du Torx pour les vis.. et un meilleur acier...

At 50 dhs, I would have expected a smoother mechanism. Also, the main lock body is not flush on the bottom. The bottom center is raised slightly, in relation to where the screws would go. So when you install it, it will be sitting crooked to one side or the other, unless you can tighten the screws extremely slowly and evenly.
