Our Company History
In 1928, at the age of twenty-two, Peter Beilenson began printing books on a small press in the basement of his parents’ home in Larchmont, New York. Peter—and later, his wife, Edna—sought to create fine books that sold at prices even a pauper could afford.

I’ve bought several of these now and am on my 4th one, they’re fantastic simple dot matrix books with sturdy pages (though they still bleed, maybe not as easily as you’d think though.) the cover is sturdy and it has a super useful little pocket at the back. Best in its category for the price :)

I have gotten the plain black (non-leather) notebook of this brand before. However, this time they were sold out and I needed a new one, so I went for the leather one. It has the same features and the paper in both is a. Ice weight where I don’t get bleed through with pens or highlighters.My only complaint is that the dots are significantly darker in this notebook than the non-leather one. They still work of course, they just stand out more, which I don’t love.
