About this item

  • [Expand Fan Interfaces] - Excellent 1 to 8 splitter 8 way 4-pin and 3-pin PWM fan power supply extension hub, it provide a better power supply solution for PC computer case internal motherboard cooling fans.
  • [Function] - Through this hub, the governor can supply power to up to 8 fans, and the rotating potentiometer can adjust the speed of 8 PWM fans at the same time.
  • [Widely Compatible] - For both 4-Pin and 3-Pin fans. If the fan does not support PWM speed regulation function, the speed regulation function is invalid. The total current connected to the fan shall not exceed the maximum current value of 17A to avoid damage to the governor.
  • [High Performance] - The high-performance fully black circuit board is adopted, the hub is small in size and convenient to use, the material is strong and the resistance is small, which does not affect the fan performance.
  • [Glue Fixation] - The thickened 3M glue is used to fix it, which has strong adhesion, easily fits inside your pc case and can firmly fix the fan hub inside the chassis.

Designed for 12V 8 Way 3Pin and 4Pin Fan Hub Speed Controller Regulator.

Used for a Dell Optiplex SFF case swap so the motherboard could be used with a large GPU. MB only had one pwm fan header for the CPU fan. Was able to add 2 case fans that turn on and off with the computer and which speed is adjustable. Plugs right into the 12v 6pin plug from the aftermarket PSU. No need for SATA power. Solved many problems at once. We'll see how long it holds up.

BUYER BEWARE: My device arrived DOA. I tested with multiple power supplies and the onboard LED does not illuminate and the connected fans do not have power.I didn't get the opportunity to test until now and I am bit more than a week out from the return window.

You know what, this is finally the first one of these I've bought that actually uses a pwm signal to drive the fans. I have three others that say they are pwm fan controllers but they use the pwm as a buck driver and the output voltage to the fans is what gets changed. So if you want a knob that changes the pwm signal to the fan header while your fans get a constant 12V, this is the one.

I'm using this in a 4u atx pc build. If you want a high wattage static rpm fan controller, this will get the job done. It has plenty of wattage to power multiple high wattage fans. That being said, this is not a smart contoller, it does not output a PWM signal, its just a potentiometer with fan headers. Nothing more, nothing less.It works great for my use case, cause I just wanted a couple of fans to run at a static rpm. If you are looking for something that can match a motherboard fan speed, or constantly change rpms this is not the product you want. This is a dumb "controller" and it does exactly what it should. I've had mine installed for over a year and it has worked flawlessly.
