Worked well for the first month, then it got stuck to one side when water pressure was low. Now not even high water pressure can trip the rotation mechanism. Very frustrating. We are usually pretty good at figuring out how to get things working properly again but gave up on this one.

was working fine, then yesterday a piece broke off, and now it doesn't rotate. Window to return has closed. Cant return. Out the cost of product. Not happy .

This is the same Brand name, but as we all know, nothing is made exactly as it used to be. This is as close as you will get to a 20+ year old impact sprinkler. Mine had a long steel spike that went into the ground at least 16", these are about 12" aluminum, but the DO, Do the job. So, my review is these are good units and throw a lot of water over a considerable distance. They have multiple adjustments available like the old style - screw that breaks the water stream, a flat panel that will also 'flatten' the stream. So, again, these are the best on the market for a LONG range sprinkler for a large yard.

I have had several of these Melnor pulsating sprinklers, and almost every one has the same issue. After less than a week of use, the oscillating part doesn't work. the part that causes it to change directions doesn't kick back and it stays stuck in one position, flooding my yard in that one spot and not watering the others. Seems to work OK if you set it to just do a 360 degree watering without setting a specific angle, but if you want to water a small corner or something it wastes a lot of water and makes a big mess, or otherwise gets stuck and floods the yard
