I like these and they do a good job on my mobility scooter. When they arrive they appear to be frosted/of no use. However, the mirrors are coated with a thin removable film to protect the mirrors. It takes a bit of discovering to find the edge to remove the film, but the film can (and should) be removed to uncover the mirrored surface. I have seen other reviews where people have complained about the appearance of the mirrors (and the discovery of the removable film seems to be the issue) so perhaps the sellers could include a note somewhere to make this clear (excuse the pun!).

My wife said it was not real mirror but as it has a film over the mirror that would be fine if it had a tag like the ones on the milk carton. It’s a nightmare to get the film off the mirror. That said the straps are very good and it is easy to fit on the handlebars.
