There's no instructions as to the fitment. What I was able to find on the web is that no gasket is required at the intake. It seems a bit sketchy. The thermostat moves around quite a bit so I had to be careful on alignment when putting the housing neck on top of the spacer.My under- dash thermostat sending unit fit "OK" thread count seems a bit weird. I put an NPT plug on the unused side. We'll see how it does when the system charges.

This fit perfect on my 1981 Chevy Camaro 350 with an Edelbrock intake. I needed it to install a water temperature sensor for my Dakota Digital gauge. Also it puts the sensor below the thermostat where it belongs. The thermostat itself sits on top of the spacer in a groove just like your intake has . I installed it with the supplied rubber o-ring and did not use any other kind of sealer. Did not have any leaks. Very satisfied.

Needed this to properly install a Dakota Digital and Holley Sniper 2 EFI. They each have their own coolant/water temp sensor and this was perfect. Right in front of your thermostat is the best place to monitor your coolant temp and this worked out well. I ended up using the more expensive rubber and plastic Felpro gaskets with it instead of the o rings just fur my own peace of mind. No leaks, and does exactly what it should. You may need to pick up a 3/8 to 1/4 plumbing fitting depending on the type of sensor you're installing.
