Garbage! the voltage dials are inaccurate and very hard to dial in, which renders the unit almost unusable. Even if you plan to use this for something simple, there are way better units for the same price. The coarse control moves waaay too fast, and the fine controls waay too slow, also, the fine controls should be infinite but they are not, so you have to fiddle with both controls for several minutes just to dial in a voltage.. then repeat for the amperage. Incredibly frustrating!

To adjust for current limit:1 - Set voltage to below 5v with V knobs2 - Short leads3 - Adjust current limit amount with C knobs (example .2a = 200milliamp)4 - unshort leads5 - Adjust voltage with V knobsWorks well and seems to be pretty stable.

A bit of fiddling to adjust but all in all it's a good quality product.

I bought this because it's so cold my solar batteries wouldn't work in my van conversion. I have access to Household power so I bought this to run my DC 12V diesel heater. Works well and I also now know how much power it draws thanks to the display.

*TLDR = weekend warrior quality, clear and bright screen, on/off switch at the back, precise, weird control. This is not a Lab with precision in mind for delicate equipment by any means, but for the weekend warrior/diy, it’s more than adequate. It has good steady voltage and it’s precise enough (+- 0.2V)when comparing to my Fluke meter that was calibrated not long ago where I work. The screen is bright and clear and easy to read, BUT the switch is on the back, so a bit of a pain each time to turn on.The controls are weird. The coarse knob turns infinitely, the fine is a 1 turn and a 1/4. Be sure to be in the middle of the fine before playing with it.Overall, I’m satisfied, for the small need of a diy weekend warrior, it will do the job just fine.

I manufacture 12 volt instrument and switch panels and install marine electronics. I use this as a desktop power supply for testing installations and I am very impressed with the quality and accuracy of this. I like the ability to have a contact voltage or constant amps, and the ability to coarse and fine tune is great.Highly recommended.

Excelente producto, lo único que no es muy práctico, la forma de establecer la corriente máxima permitida para el voltaje que estés trabajando.

Good: 60v voltageCompactEasy to read screenBad:Poor quality banana plugs and receptacles - keep falling out - do not tighten.I dont mind the fan noise but the clicking and buzzing sound is a bit excessive even when using low power outputNo power button! You have to unplug the device or use a power switch.Very slow power off - you have high voltage for about 30-60 seconds under no load after switching off or disconnecting power. My fuse blew after 2 weeks of use using reasonable voltages and power. Then when everything was disconnected except the power cable and voltage and current was set to zero, the unit immediately blew the second fuse as soon as it was plugged in. Must have somehow been defective.

To not repeat all reoccurring review statements. I’ll mention only a bit about the accuracy and dialability of the voltage and amp values.First off, I was able to set the Voltage to a minimum of 0.10V after a few attempts. Any attempt to go lower resulted the value to go straight to 0.00V.I was able to get the max amps of 10.15A-10.20A set when the voltage was first set to a min of 0.85V. (You then have to touch the two leads together to be able to adjust the amps. At 0.85V-1.00V you will have no issues with sparks when touching the leads. I tried hard. No sparks. Even at max amps.)I noticed that the fine adjustment knob is having a relative range to change the value based on the value set by the coarse knob. At 1.00V there was hardly any fine adjustment possible (Maybe a range of 0.03V difference.) At appr. 0.40V the knob was no longer making any fine adjustments. You will have to make all fine adjustments with the coarse knob. It’s not going to be easy if you don’t have steady hands and good fine motor skills. As an artist it was not too hard for me. But it’s an ever so slight adjustment. Almost just a thought while holding the knob.On the upper voltage values the fine adjustment knob can easily have a range of 0.30V and more. The amp fine adjustment knob was easier to adjust to low values.Another fact is, that when changing the voltage value quickly by bigger amounts the value can change only at a max speed of a few volts per second. A quite slow adjustment time. When coming from 30V, it will take you probably 20 to 25 seconds to get to 0.00V.Patience is a good virtue. When turning off the power switch in the back it first runs down the voltage value to 0.00V before it gets to the shut down process. When shutting the power switch off while at 0.00V, it took another appr. 9 seconds for the unit to power down. All in all it does what it’s supposed to.Just don’t expect fast processes and quick adjustments on the fly.*** I found: When I work WITH the device and respect its limitation, and not expect the device to work MY WAY (if different), I become more creative and figure out still many ways to make things work with it as is. ***The banana plugs are tight and the knobs are a bit stiff (not too much), which feels good for fine adjustments. The metal casing feels sturdy and of good quality. The leads are very basic. You’d do yourself a favour to buy better ones. The current values also slightly fluctuate when wiggling the cables while in operation. But very minor. I noticed they get easily warm. The power cord feels of good quality too and has decent flexibility. The fan is decently quiet and doesn’t come on until a certain temperature is reached. I believe it is 50'C.It’s a basic unit. But delivers within its basic features.
