I have a couple of different 1/4-in tubing pieces and these barely fit tight enough. I had to add Teflon tape. Then when using a 90° head, there is not a uniform spread of water. At 90° and 0°, water shoots about 15 ft, whereas in the middle of the fan it is about half as much. My adjustable heads from home Depot have a much More even water pattern and adjustability is essential for plants. I feel I would need to buy adjusters to add to these but might as well spend the extra money and get more name brand ones that come with a plastic stake. I feel these have too much pressure drop and don't allow much control.

Simple, less likely to get plugged up, can be used on the main pipe or the 1/4 in spreaders. In other words, they do it all at a much lower price. Additionally , the bulk pack is much more environmentally friendly.

Use these for my 4 x 16 feet raised bed. I have a 1/2 in line all along the bed. I connect 2 to 3 of these sprinkler on a 1/8 tubing and link it to the main line. The 3 different pattern accommodate any position. They produce a perfect mist.
