Our Company History
In 1928, at the age of twenty-two, Peter Beilenson began printing books on a small press in the basement of his parents’ home in Larchmont, New York. Peter—and later, his wife, Edna—sought to create fine books that sold at prices even a pauper could afford.

The design is so pretty, I fell in love right away. the pages are also pretty thick which is nice. I use it for book journaling so its definitely great!

Genuinely the most gorgeous diary I've ever seen. I've never even held a book this wonderful.The cover is amazing, I can't stop looking at it and it's been over a week now. The paper is thick and lush. No ink bleed whatsoever. So carefully crafted, no corners cut. Everything's finished beautifully.I cannot believe it's so cheap, I would expect this level of quality to be easily £50 or more with the way every detail has been considered.This book will last for generations.It's one of those items you buy multiple copies of just in case they stop producing it.With the price as good as it is, I'm already back buying another before I've finished this one just to ensure I'll definitely have them in my hands.If you're debating, just get it. It's not expensive, and you'll be over the moon with the quality.

I got this as a gift and it’s a beautiful journal with such unique detail. I would definitely get one for myself as well. The price is good for the quality, and the size is perfect.

It's so beautiful!I am pleased I bought it , the cover is so beautiful. Inside the lines are normal not too big not too narrow.The package arrived on time and no damagedI highly recommend it. Very good little present! I I may buy another one with different design!

This is so beautiful in person and it is heavier than I expected it to be. It was packaged really well and the sticker in the back came off easily and left no residue. I noticed some customers were complaining about this! It is so well detailed and I love the gold on the sides of the pages and the bookmark string! The front and back of this journal is stunning! This is probably the first item that I have bought from Amazon that deserves a 5 star rating. The quality is awesome!

Great little notebook if you're looking for a personal notebook. Looking forward to trying a few other covers for my next journals. The shinny rimmed pages are a beautiful touch as well.

It’s very beautiful diary/drawing/scribbling book! I’ve bought several and many more as gifts for family/friends! It is the perfect gift and a creative one to give as well. The beauty of this book could inspire one to write, draw or colour. The paper has very light lines so you can still keep your slant straight. Also, the paper is thick enough that you can colour with bright markers, pencils and it does not go through the page. It has a silk ribbon to separate the pages.And the engraving on the hard cover is unbelievably lovely, rich and inspiring. You will love these books and your friends, family will love to receive to use for just about anything.

I really loved the notebook it has a great cover but it makes me sad that the sticker is sticked directly on the cover… couldn’t remove it properly. It ruined the whole idea of the cover. I got the notebook because of it💔💔
