I have purchased other Allen products and liked them. This is a good case for what I needed, however the inside layer should be made of better material. Have not had it long and where the front site sets it is starting to rip. I will glue a small patch of leather at this spot.

I recently picked up a Ruger 10-22 and purchased this Rifle Case for the 22lr carbine. It fits great, and is well made..My only comment is that other models have different pocket configurations, and looking back, would probably have chosen a different model for my needs.. Allen Cases are well made, and well priced.. I have used them for my pistol cases, and range bags in the past and have always noted their good construction, and value pricing.

This case, even though 40", will not fit your shotgun or assault rifle if it has any attachments like a scope, tac light, shell clip, extra grip. It is not big enough to wrap around those weapons and you can't get the zipper done up. Sent it back. It is very basic.

I needed a case for a Ruger .44 Carbine. I also have a 10-22. This case is perfect for these little rifles. And it accommodates a scoped gun well. The writing on the case is embroidered not screened - so it doesn't look cheap. And there's just the right amount of padding. A well made case. I recommend this for the Ruger fans out there.
