So first I liked the moderne look and the 4 keys it came with. When I was testing it right after the install I tried to use the lock just for the key to break inside. After a long fight with my pliers I finally took out the broken piece to try one of my 3 keys left but realized I couldn’t event put the key inside…..needless to say I am now on the market for a new handle

Had to to get replacement sent because the white plastic lock lever was broken, shockingly the replacement was faulty as well! Pretty cheap plastic! The first on was all thrown loosely in a large box, understandably lever could get broken, but the second unit was better packaged, but the lever being placed on inside of latch was on the bottom of the box. They need to package this better! Going to order from some other supplier on Amazon.

This is my 3rd door lock in the 8 years I have owned this RV. I was concerned that it was made of plastic but that is not why I have had to replace locks. The metal mechanism inside seems strong and that is what keeps getting broken when my trailer is vandalized.It was easy to install and I am sure it will work the same as the shiny chrome one I had on which was defeated with a screwdriver jammed into the key hole.All of these locks are to keep honest people out and this one will do that.
