This filter was ideal for my rain barrel setup, providing essential sediment filtration before my irrigation system. Its generous size simplifies the cleaning process, and it seamlessly connects with standard outdoor tap fittings. Since installing it, I've noticed a significant reduction in clogged lines and drip heads, thanks to its effective removal of small particulates. Maintaining the filter is straightforward, just unscrew the body and a quick rinse is all it takes. The robust, thick plastic construction suggests excellent durability. While it features UV protection, positioning the filter in a shaded spot within the garden should further prolong its lifespan. This added precaution should ensure years of reliable use for my rain barrel irrigation system.

The two male connectors leak badly, I would recommend a better quality filter like a Rainbird filters. Tried to contact the seller, not interested in addressing the flaws in the product. He was interested in me sending Photos and whatever excuse, I didn't have time as I replaced it with another Rainbird. I consider this product a barebones filter that with enough plumber's tape I assume you may be able to use. NOT RECOMMENDED to anyone who is looking for quality product.

The design of this filter is poor with the rounded top it lets bits of particulars thru I added another filter after this because this one is not doing it’s job Junk
