Not consistent. Some knob inserts are hard to insert and others are too loose and do not grip the shaft.

We had an old kitchen range in a rental property that needed a new knob. We were able to easily find a knob and insert in this kit that fit. Both left and right dial indicators are included.

The knobs on my oven were brittle and finally broke apart, I was very relieved to be able to replace them . My husband had to make a few adjustments but they worked . Thanks Amazon

DID NOT WORK FOR OUR STOVE. TIME HAD PASSED BY THE TIME THAT I TRIED TO USE IT SO I COULD NOT RETURN THE ITEM ALTHOUGH IT DIDN'T REALLY WORK. tHE ADAPTER WENT ALL THE WAY TO THE BOTTOM BUT IT STILL NEEDS TO GO A LITTLE BIT MORE TO MOVE THE SWITCH.

Although these weren't a good match for my stove, the knobs were reasonably well made and will fit many stoves. The knobs were a basic functional design that was very different from the more decorative design of our stove. It was nice to have the variety of inserts to enable these to fit the specific type of shaft for my stove. I also liked that the provided labels are arranged clockwise or counterclockwise, but the adhesive is not quite strong enough to permanently attach them to the knobs. That's because the labels are not at exactly the same angle as the knobs and put some stress on the thin layer of adhesive. Rubber cement or a stronger adhesive easily fixes the problem. The knobs did fit firmly on my stove even compared to the original knobs. However, I was hoping that the labels would match those of my GE stove, but our stove labels are on the underlying panel and not on the knobs. That's not a deficiency of these knobs, but I can only guess at the setting on our stove except when none of the burners are on. It's still better than the nearly invisible remaining labels on the stove panel, so I'll keep these knobs as a backup.
