Had previously replaced impeller, but still wasn't getting good water flow from port on motor. Didn't know it had a thermostat! Duh! Replaced it and we're good.

Fits a 1996 Mercury 2stroke ELPTO 60 hp perfect and it cured my overheat issue.MY MAJOR GRIPE IS THAT THIS DOESNT COME WITH THAT RUBBER RING. CHARGE A DOLLAR MORE AND THROW IT IN THERE.The lack of rubber ring caused it to lose a star.
