I have 'Shrooms in all of my drains in my house, so that's why I was disappointed with this one. It's white stem was simply too flexible for my drains and didn't allow for a proper, tight fit. SO, I returned it for the stainless steel version, which fit perfectly, and is what I have in all of my sink drains, now. Side note: I also have the TubShroom and the Shower[Stall]Shroom, and I wonder how I did without all these years (that, and I wonder how much hair escaped down the drains...). Definitely recommend the stainless steel version.

I have a tubshroom and bought the 2 different types of sink shrooms at the same time to use in my double vanity. BOTH of them are amazing, and I love how they came with a little stopper. This one sticks out a little, so it is easier for someone to grab and clean. Personally, I like the design of the other one a little better, but this one is still a winner for me. I am replacing all the bathroom sink stoppers with one of these. Your drains will thank you.

This is a great device to prevent things accidentally falling down the sink, drain, and capture hair so that it doesn't clog the drain.

The SinkShroom was easy to install. The hardest part was removing the old sink stopper, which is the kind that raises and lowers with a lever. My husband found a video on Youtube with instructions for unhooking it. Then, all we had to do was put the SinkShroom into the drain.It sits a bit higher than our old stopper, but I think it still looks nice. The white plastic part shows a bit, and it seems a bit flimsy. But, I got the chrome, and it's a good match for my sink.I don't love that I'm not able to lower the SinkShroom to plug the drain. This set comes with a separate stopper, but that's an extra thing to keep track of. It allows me to fill the sink, but it isn't a perfect fit for my standard 1.25" drain and will only hold water for a limited amount of time. I pre-soak my laundry in the bathroom sometimes, and I will probably need to use another sink for that purpose.So far, I like this, but I think a lot will depend on how long it lasts and how much easier it makes cleaning the drain over time. The old stopper that we removed was covered in disgusting gunk, but so far the SinkShroom is keeping things neater. However, we've had the same pop up stopper for over 10 years, and I don't see this lasting as long.I think this is a good idea for avoiding clogged drains and might help use less chemicals. If none of the things I mentioned are dealbreakers for you, then I recommend it.
