What a difference. Added to 32nunch TV that had terrible sound and thus little baby provided a huge umexpected sound. Love it.

On power-up it was difficult to understand the mechanical voice. Pressing the power button cycles between modes; USB, Optical, AUX, RCA, BT. Note that the 'leaflet says there is an RCA cable supplied but there was only an Optical and a TRS/AUX. There is no HDMI.The unit is easy to use and connected easily via BT.The audio sounded muffled from power on, using BT and using the AUX cable. I could not find a way to adjust the audio quality.The box says "for small spaces". I suspect that users will very quickly turn this off and go back to using the TV speakers. The speakers on the TV gave a much clearer sound.

I have an expensive av-receiver surround system in my lounge room that I sometimes connect my TV to, such as when I want to watch a movie with all the sound effects. Most of the time when watching TV I don’t bother to do that and just use the TV speakers which aren’t too bad. I expected this soundbar to provide a sort of in-between solution, an improvement on the TV speakers with a bit more depth and clarity but not as elaborate or bassy as the av-receiver surround system which is not needed for most TV viewing. In fact, I found the soundbar is pretty much on a par with my TV speakers, sometimes not quite as good. It sounds best in music mode and is not quite as good in movie or news mode. I guess it shows my LG TV speakers are pretty good after all. None of this is to say the soundbar is not good in its own right. It gives a decent sound, though lacking bass somewhat. I found it quite pleasant for listening to music and voices are clear when listening to dialogue. The soundbar was easy to setup. I am using an optical connection from the TV. It paired easily with my computer using Bluetooth. It is very responsive to the remote. I like the way the LED light can be turned off so it is not distracting. Conclusion: an OK, adequate soundbar if you are not expecting too much.
